Awning Service
It went ok but not great. When the fabric awning was installed immediately it started to gather water in several locations. I had the company come out twice to retie the awning tighter but it still gathered and sagged in two locations. Finally the company told me that since the vinyl was a hardier and more "slick" fabric the water ran off it easier. The fabric awning was going to continue to sag and sag unless the existing frame was lowered 3" on the front so that there was a steeper slope. We paid the extra money to have the frame lowered, the awning repaired from the stretching and rehung. I was disappointed that the company didn't warn me of the problem with the fabric option versus using vinyl. Additionally, now that the frame is lowered and the awning rehung, it is not gathering water but the sealing at the house edge is very poor and it leaks in half a dozen places. I've called multiple times to have them come and re-caulk but have not gotten a call back.
