The guys at AD were very knowledgeable and talked me through a number of elements in our door purchase.  There are a lot of details and options to deal with when you're considering doors.  They came and took measurements of all our existing doors and frames which ensured we ordered the right size. The installer was professional, punctual, and cleaned up his work area after completing the installation.  All in all, a good experience and I would recommend them.

I am very happy with the install and the service 5 yrs later.  This company has been around for a while and has the skills to do high end work including staining and finishes as well as more routine door installs.

The company called when the doors came in and the permit was approved, scheduled the installation as per my schedule. The installer showed up on time and did an excellent installation of the doors and hardware. The job passed inspection with no problems, The company owner also came and inspected the job.

After my initial contact, my call was returned right away. The representative came to the house, measured the current doors, and seemed to be very knowledgeable. I knew that I wanted fiberglass wood look doors, but the rep helped me to choose the best color and the hardware for the look that would best go with my house.
After we placed the order, we were kept up to date. I was very pleased with the communication, which was now with the owner of the company. I was notified that the doors were ready to be installed. The installer worked very hard for 2 days, and he did a beautiful job. When he was done, the stain needed some touch up, so the person who originally did the staining came out himself to touch up. He is a perfectionist! After he came out, there were still a few things to touch up and finish, so the original installer came back to caulk and tweak the weather stripping.
I had the inspector from the city come out to close the permit, and he told me that they did a great job on the installation. The doors look beautiful. Paul, the owner, explained the final bill to me over the phone, letting me know that he was sending me all the paperwork, including all the documentation regarding the permit.
Overall, I was very pleased with the company. I would definately recommend them.

The owner of the company came out to look at the project himself. It was expensive because it took two men to manage the heavy mahogany doors. The sweeps we needed were unusual in that they needed to slide into a grooved track attached to the bottom of each door so I needed a specialist. I could not find this type of sweep at any hardware store or do it yourself place . I had tried a handyman but even he could not find the part so he recommended American Door Company. It was the right choice because I found everyone involved professional and the job was done quickly with no problems encountered. It was one of those projects that seemed like a small one that really didn't take too much time once someone did it but to find someone to do it was the hard part. Even though it was expensive it is worth it because our doors were not damaged and now no more bugs are getting in under the door!

The installatioin went well. The new doors look great and the Company hauled away the old door.

The sales person was very knowledgeable and knew what kind of doors were needed. They delivered on time and the installer was excellent. Very respectful of the house and always cleaned up. The doors work perfectly and we were very pleased.

We had to go to the store to select new style doors. Order took over 12 weeks to come in. Each time we called to ask about the status of the order, we were not given satisfactory answers. Very poor selection of possible stain colors to choose from. The area where color selection was to be made was very dark, so colors did not look the same when in the daylight. When doors were ready to be installed at our home, we saw that the color did not look like it did in the shop. The color was too light. We called and asked for them to be taken back and restained in a darker color. The owner was extremely nasty on the phone. He said that he had never had a problem with the door color before. After much aggravation, we finally got them to redo the color. When the doors were finally installed, the handles were not correct. They were the reverse of what they were supposed to be. It took several weeks to reorder and reinstall them.

THIS COMPANY WAS UNPROFESSIONAL. THEY DAMAGED MY STUFF WHEN THEY WERE INSTALLING THE DOOR. THEY DAMAGED MY WALLPAPER and I DO NOT LIKE THE SERVICE PEOPLE.
