ALOHA POOLS SERVICES INC

It has been a lengthy process with Aloha Pools but they have been very diligent in trying to complete the work in a satisfactory way. I had a completely new pool and salt system put in 5 years ago. Since then, I have had a host of issues with it. I have had to now have every single piece of pool equipment replaced. I have had to have the mother board replaced twice. Even though it was still under warranty, Aloha pools didn't even try to contact the manufacturer to honor that. I was overcharged by $200 for replacing the chlorinator from what they quoted me to what the woman in the office ended up charging me for. The system wasn't making chlorine at all for several months after all this work was done. Eddie kept coming out and trying to make things work. He eventually disconnected the 4-pin. connector to the chlorine system so they can control the chlorine production remotely. Of course I can't change the chlorine production this way and I don't know if it is being monitored properly. My big concern is that all of these systems started dying while they were doing the weekly maintenance. I am not entirely convinced that they know how to correctly service a salt pool. They even put one of those chlorine floating dispensers in the pool which you expressly don't have to do with a salt system. If you have a salt pool, I'm not sure they are the way to go. But I will comment Eddie for working hard and coming back multiple times in order to try to get everything working.

For 20 years we have been maintaining our own pool with good success. Last year, the hurricane filled our pool with all sort of debris, mulch, topsoil, fertilizer (you name it). The pool became stained and out of balance and I could not recover it. Aloha had it back under control in 4 visits with most of the staining gone and the water sparkling. The pool looks like it did new. The filter motor that I thought needed replacing works like it is brand new. They are punctual and polite. I would not trust anyone else and the price is fair.

They keep sending the same service person who spends no more than 15 minutes doing mostly nothing. Algae has built up several times over the past year. He will vacuum just the bottom near the drain and ignore the rest. Never brushes steps, waterline, etc. We've watching him do mostly nothing and pay them (average about $25/visit). The manager has come out 3 times to do the work as contracted. Not sure why they keep this person -- perhaps son of the owner. There are much better services in Fort Lauderdale area. It takes me about 30-40 minutes to do everything including check/update chemistry. This guys does mostly nothing in 10min. Our neighbor nextdoor has same feedback -- hopefully they will put in a review as well.

Mike and his crew are great. They are very responsive, reasonable and have helped me with several issues I've had. It's nice to find an honest business that you know you can trust. Few and far between nowadays. I heartily recommend them.

Great "Mom & Pop" business. Anytime I call with a pool issue - they are at my house in a couple of hours, and it is addressed.

I have been using Aloha Pools for weekly cleaning services since late 2012 and am just now sending them this note of praise. This company is local, and is a family owned and operated business including Mike, Pam, Ed and all their crew.  I even had them upgrade my pool to a salt water system, and then I had them add a pool heater.  My pool is pristine and everything is in perfect working order. My regular pool guy is Mike and he is excellent, friendly, always thorough and knowledgeable.  
I don't have a lot of skill when it comes to pool systems, control panels, and simple questions. The staff has always been super responsive and always will come and check things out to be sure things are fine.  I am pleased to highly recommend this company. We were very dissatisfied with our pool services and a neighbor recommended Aloha pools. Our first call to Mike was when our pool pump stopped working on a Saturday morning. We called Aloha pools and Mike was at our house within the hour. He fixed the pump at a very reasonable price...especially for a Saturday morning house call. At that time, Mike noticed that our pool vacuum was misbehaving. It got stuck by the stairs and didn't move. Rather than trying to sell us new equipment, he ordered parts for the vacuum, and had it working great as soon as the parts arrived. We started a weekly schedule immediately and have been happy customers ever since. We highly recommend Aloha pools for great pool service!

Mike's team is top-shelf, always reliable and professional they do their work right the first time so you don't have to worry. We have had many emergency calls and they run to the rescue. None better out there, thanks Mike!

Mike with Aloha Pools has come to my rescue a few times. My client's boyfriend owned a pool company, (Plumbers don't work on their own plumbing) so their pool was often neglected. Mike was always very professional and very efficient. I am thrilled to be able to send him two new clients! He deserves the referal!

Finally... I've found a pool company who really cares and knows what they are doing! I am SO impressed with Aloha pools. After years of enduring several poor pool cleaning companies, I took over our pool myself after ... but then got busy and found picking up chlorine , carrying it home in the car and into the backyard very burdensome... so the pool became GREEN. Aloha pools did not overcharge ... came twice in one week... and now the pool is absolutely beautiful and I can relax again. I forgot how wonderful it is to have a pool service doing the work instead of me.

They are outstanding. Mike really understands pools. He identified a problem with my pool that others were going to charge me a lot of money to fix. As a result of him, I saved $6,000 and now have a great, reliable pool service.
