I was very happy with All Broward Windows & Glass. They were punctual and they didn't hike up the prices. The job was done quickly and efficiently - and it was a good job. They are reliable. The price was good for the amount of work done. It was good service and they were responsive.

I used this company previously (June, 2011) when I needed glass replaced as a result of a break in at my rental property.  They were not great with regard to returning calls but the work was top notch (see previous evaluation for details) so when my tenants called to say there was another break in, I called Larry immediately.  My first call was on 12/22/11 at about 6:00 PM.  I explained the situation (same door glass panel broken, plus two additional windows damaged so they would not close and screen door cut) and reminded him of the work he had done previously.  He remembered the prior job and knew where the house was located.  I hoped he might be able to just go ahead right away and order the glass needed for the door since he had written up a work order including measurements, etc. already.  He said, though, "can you call me in the morning" so that he could review his schedule and let me know what time he could be there.  

I called him about 8:30 am on 12/23/11 and left a voice mail message and then again at 11:30 am.  He did not return either call.  I called him again at 6:00 pm that evening and this time he answered - he said he had a problem with his voice mail and all calls went directly to voice mail but they were unable to retrieve the messages.  At that point, he said he would not be able to go out to the house until Monday due to the holiday.  I understood that and said okay.  He assured me he would be there about 10 am Monday, 12/26 and that he would call me to let me know what the price would be ( he said he would not need me to be there as he could measure/evaluate from outside).  I did not hear from him on Monday, so I called about 2:00 pm and left another voice mail.  Still not response on Tuesday so I called one last time at 8:30 am and left a very nice voice mail explaining that I understand he must be very busy, but I would really appreciate that he let me know if he was not able to do the job.  He did not call back.

I cannot believe the lack of professionalism and courtesy he displayed.  I would never use this company again nor recommend them.  I was not an Angies List subscriber when I used this company back in June but had I been, I would have used them given their other ratings (F).  

When Larry did not have the courtesy to call me yesterday, I went on Angies List and found another company, A Better Window and Screen who was very responsive.  They have already fixed the two windows and offered two options (replacement glass or solid door) to address the door issue.  I will write a review on them once the work is completely finished.

I was impressed with them at first - I called Saturday afternoon and asked if they could come out and board up and they said they would come by in a few hours.  They arrived when they said they would, measured and then left to get materials to board up the window.  It took some time but I was overall very pleased with their responsiveness at this point.  I expected to hear from Larry on Friday to schedule time to come over the following Saturday to install new window.  When he didn't call me, I tried to reach him.  I left several voice mail messages which he did not return.  After a couple days, I got in touch with him and he said he had been busy and the glass did not come in.  After another week, and a couple more phone calls, he came out and did a very nice job installing the glass.  I was a bit disappointed since he said when he got there that he would not be able to do the rescreening until the following week, but overall , the job he did was first rate.  He came back, as promised the following week and did a very nice job rescreening.

My only complaint is that he was not very good at responding and never returned calls.  Now, fast forward to December of 2011, and I have a second, not so positive experience with this company.  I will be writing a separate review of this experience.

Did not go good at all.  Spoke to someone at All Broward each time I called (3 times in total) and was told each time a sales rep would call me back.  I finally went with another window installer who came out same day, had great prices, gave me options. 

AFTER THE HURRICANE, I WANTED THE WINDOWS REPLACED WITH IMPACT GLASS AND THEY OFFERED A FAIR PRICE. COMMUNICATION DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE A PRIORITY FOR THEM. I HAD SEVERAL REPAIRS TO BE DONE AND FELT I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO CHASE THEM TO DO THE WORK.
