Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 All American Roofing company is the exact reason homeowners are often weary about getting taken advantage of by contractors. We were financed by Y-green for a new roof, due to termite damage. All American Roofing was one of three quotes we received and chose them since we had also heard an advertisement for them on the radio. We received an initial quote of $15,125 for a tile roof & $21,475 for a metal roof. We decided on the metal option as to not ever have an issue regarding termite damages again. After the removal of the roof there was extra damage that was not part of the initial scope, so they sent a detailed quote via email for the extra work totaling around $5,000. After approving the quote and leaving the job unfinished, they sent an invoice for $15,000 which was not approved by anyone (Y-green the finance company must approve all change orders as per the contract before any work is done). Wanting to understand the 63% increase, we scheduled a call with the owner Susan Manning and at the beginning of the call we asked her if it is ok if we recorded our conversation, which she agreed to. After a couple of questions, she immediately got aggressive and became verbally abusive (Audio available). The only smart thing we did was finance the project through Y-green, as the contractor does not get paid unless work is completed at the price agreed upon. Now they are threating to put a lean on our house, and if you notice other reviews on this company, we are not the first.

They did such a good job. They explained everything so well. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

They were very professional from start to finish, great communication throughout and despite bad weather got the job done as promptly as possible.

I called the company and someone responded immediately during a bad rainy season. I was told I needed 15 tiles to be replaced. I felt the rep was honest and was not a money grabber. Though the price was expensive I went with the company because of the quality of service. The work came out great with no more leaks.

All American Roofing completed two roof repairs at our home over the past few years. They were very professional, and did a quality job in a timely manner. They were not the cheapest quote I received, but they were also not the most expensive. They took pictures, both in the attic and the roof, showed me where the problems were, and explained to me what would need to be done to make the repairs. I will definitely use them again and have no hesitation about recommending them.

The repair went great. The installers were on time, and they explained a little of the process before just getting up there to work. They were very clean and professional. The leak is now fixed and the patch looks as close to the original as you can possibly get with a ten year old roof. Very Happy and Thank you for the quick response.

AAR was extremely respponsive and came out the same day. From the receptionist to the estimator, we were very pleased with their attention to detail and how timely they were. We would definately use them again.

Every vendor I called to come take a look at my roof took one look at the fact that the problem area was close to or in the valley of my roof and immediately said it wasn't worth repairing and I might as well replace the roof.  They all then gave me their estimates to replace my roof.  All American Roofing, while cautioning that a replacement was most likely, was the only company to actually get into my attic space and look around.  They offered to 'try' and patch it but I may still need to replace.  I went ahead and had them try to patch and I'm very glad I did!  Turns our they issue was next to but not in the valley of the roof!  Crew took a couple hours to fix and water test but it's been a couple months now and no issues.  So happy!

Arrived on time did a great job and cleaned up after, it was like they were never there.I would recommend them to anybody. Great company with a excellent work crew.

After finding some rotted wood, they had to get plywood, got a used piece about 6ft by 6 ft, and added $300 to the bill. I could have run over to Home Depot and got a new piece for less than $20.

All American Roofing, Inc. assessed our problem and repaired our tile roof to address a leak we noticed.  Approximately one month later, we noticed a leak in the same area and notified them.  They immediately came and fixed the problem at no additional cost.  Great Work!!!  We would use them again and highly recommend them to others.

When called for inspection and proposal for repairs the response was timely.  The inspection was completed as scheduled and the interior as well as exterior of the roof was inspected and reported upon.  The employees that worked on the roof arrived on schedule and wore overalls that had their names and the company logo.  The job was completed in two days and the work site left cleaned up.
The work was paid for immediately and a receipt showing complete payment received by mail.  Since the job was completed several heavy rain downpours have occurred and so far the leak in the two areas of the roof have not recurred.

The experience went very well. They were terrific. They cleaned up, were always on time and worked very quickly.

I have three words to describe All American Roofing: Incompetent crooked thieves.  They were unable to find or fix the source of the leak, but they were more than willing to continue charging with no expectation of ever fixing the problem.  I recently had my house painted.  The painter (as part of his service) replaced caulking as needed, some at areas where the walls met the roof.  This magically fixed the leak that All American Roofing had not been able to find.  After several torrential rains the leak has not come back.  All American should have been able to see worn caulk as a an obvious cause of the leak.  This problem should have been fixed for less than $200.  I believe All American simply cheated me!

This is a family-owned business. I've been a customer of theirs for about 10 years. Anytime I have a problem, they’ve been very responsive and send reliable people. They always clean up well afterwards and it's been good working with them!

They used top notch material. They didn't use subcontractors, which I think is fantastic. The work was superb!  They asked us to move our cars, so debris wouldn't damage them. They put down drop cloths in the driveway so all debris was collected immediately. They removed all the debris at the end of each day. The workers were very polite, and ensured that our home and landscaping was protected. Their equipment was top rate. They are fully licensed and insured in the state of Florida, as well.

They did a great job and I highly recommend them to others!

JUST AS THEY TOLD ME

My roof hasn't leaked since.  I'm very happy with the service and the quality of the work.  They took pictures and showed me everything that they were doing.  They were very knowledgeable and communicated well with me, updating me on the progress of the project as it proceeded.  They were some great people to work with.  Alexander Ricardella was the gentleman who did the estimate and explained the company to me.

They did a good job. The roof has been very solid and it hasn't leaked. They are reliable and professional.
