The customer service for this company is awful. It took me a week to get the first guy out. And, You have to deal with people from other countries (India call center). They charged me $116 for a diagnostic of my refrigerator and the repairman was nice. Then, he said the mother board/mainframe needed to be replaced which would cost $579. I told him that I wanted to research the cost online fir a new fridge for a few minutes and then I would call in a hour and place the order. He said ok. When I called in, I waited 20 minutes again. They told me I had to pay for another guy to come out and could not use any of the information on ordering the mainframe from the first technician. Tis is crazy. It would take another week to come out. Then I called another company and they told me the issue was not even the mainframe but a switcher. So I would have wasted $600+ and not even feed my fridge. When I complained to the call center and asked to speak to a supervisor, the person hung up on me. I called again and waited a long time and spoke to supervisor Raya who told me that she could not help me with paying the diagnostic fee again because it was the companies policy.

Not good. We're on the 3rd visit over a 4 month period and it's still not fixed. First, they changed the compressor. Then, they came back, said there was a leak and was out of refrigerant. Now, it's out of refrigerant again and they say the condenser is leaking. There were zero leaks before they came along and now everything seems to be mysteriously leaking. Oh, and this is a 2-year old fridge. It's through a warranty company and this is their preferred provider, otherwise I'd never let these people touch any of my appliances again.

y switch, I contacted Whirlpool, the manufacturer of the fridge which was inoperable. They set me up with A&E. I did this as I wanted to avail myself of the years 2-5 warranty on compressors and such, in case that was the problem. Turned out to be a relay switch. The part cost $31, the balance of the charge was labor and tax. I paid the bill, but was not happy with the cost, as they quoted one price, charged another, When they quote, they conveniently forget to mention the service call charge: $75. They will do what they set out to do, and do it well, just make them give you a real price up-front. I wasn't told the true cost until the job was done.

My husband and I purchased a Maytag french door bottom freezer refrigerator in 2010.  We noticed fairly recently a pool of ice kept forming on the bottom right side of the refrigerator (in the freezer compartment).  We referred to the Maytag website and subsequently called the 800# number and the Maytag representative connected us to A & E Factory Service.  The company set up an appointment (no waiting for a date) and sent a technician who was located in our area (Boynton Beach).  The company has an automated system that contacted us the night before AND the morning of the scheduled visit to confirm the appointment.  The tech (named Clemente) was extremely timely and professional.  He quickly identified the problem and fixed it: (1) defrosted the grill on the backside of the freezer that was frozen due to a clogged pipe that was not draining, (2) unclogged the pipe (there was a very small particle of dust clogging it), and leveled the refrigerator (it was not level when it was installed by another company).  We also had a torn gasket, so we decided to replace both gaskets.  Clemente ordered the gaskets (which were delievered to our house via UPS) and Clemente returned to install them a week later (5/1/2012).  On 5/1/2012 we were having an all day rain storm throughout Palm Beach County.  We received a phone call (automated) indicating the tech was behind schedule and was asked if we wanted to reschedule or keep the appointment date in which the tech would arrive that day in the early evening.  We kept the appointment.  Clemente arrived and installed the gaskets. We have had no problems since (it has been two weeks).  And now when I open the left side door of the refrigerator, it stays open (because the refrigerator was previously not leveled correctly, the door would not stay open).

This is the absolute worst service company! Do not use them! They have the worst customer service of any company I have ever encountered. Well here goes this long drawn out, completely frustrating series of events...On Dec 6 I called my service contract company which set up an appointment within 5 day through A&E service...This appointment was not kept by A&E, they simply did not show up....I called them back that day after the time allotted for service and they just gave me an empty apology and said they would reschedule me for 5 DAYS LATER...not the next day, as I would have expected...The next appointment was kept but the service tech came and said that parts needed to be ordered and they would not be able to come back till the 27 of Dec...21 DAYS LATER...THEY AGAIN WERE A NO SHOW....I called them back and was given another appointment 3 days later the tech showed up and said that all the parts that he needed were never ordered and he again needed to reschedule...He said that he would overnight the missing part and it would be there on the 31st of Dec before 12pm...That part never showed and ended up coming on the 3rd of Jan...The appointment would now have to be pushed to the 5th of Jan...1 MONTH FROM THE ORIGINAL CALL...This company is a disgrace and should not be in business....

I have an extended warranty contract with them. Everything was covered under the warranty and that was one of the reasons I appreciated it. They made sure it was all covered. I had an ice maker problem. My ice maker wasn’t working and it was freezing up. They completely took it apart and put in a piece in order to make it better. They did that six months ago. That did not change anything and so they came back when I told them the same problem persists. They replaced the whole door. I thought they were very thorough. My only critic of them was that, they sent two different repair men since they came out twice. I personally like to have a little continuity. So that the first person who saw it, is looking at the same thing when he comes out next. I would use their services again in the future.

The first scheduled appointment was canceled at 5pm (Tuesday)on the same day after waiting all day long for them to come. They rescheduled for the following Friday, again anywhere between 8am to 5pm. Tech arrived at 6pm, looked at the dryer and didn't know what to do. Went back to his van and was on the phone for 20 minutes, came back in and said "dryer is brokey",(yes he couldn't speak English). Had to reschedule again for the following week, parts arrived on Tuesday from Whirlpool. Tech showed up at 4pm Thursday, didn't need the part, only a wire was loose. First moron didn't even open the back, he could have fixed it.
