He's not punctual; he doesn't call to tell you that he's going to be late. He Never Showed Up! I had to work till 8:00 PM last night to make up for the time waiting around for him; and all for nothing. I would tell Mr. Ansley, "if you really didn't want the job because it's too small, then say so. Don't waste anybody's time." I would have ordered my bedroom furniture today, but can't until this job was done. It takes three weeks to order my bedroom set and now I have to wait another week because I can only order on Saturdays. And I have a deposit on this furniture that can expire.

Great. Gary was nice enough to spend time with us and understand our needs. Thereafter he would make specific recommendations based on costs. He and his team had the job done in about 3 days.

From the beginning I stated that I had to have one working toilet; attached is a picture of the only toilet in my house for over a month. The water tank part of the toilet was sitting in the house all the time. The front door (picture attached) was never done, even though termites had left the door framing almost nonexistent. The painters. The picture shows the lack of care taken with my furniture during their work. It did not seem to matter how or where items were placed. My carpet has a large paint stain that Stanley Steamer was not able to remove; I have to replace the carpet. They painted the grout in the bathrooms where the floor border tiles meet up with the drywall; something I did not want and have not seen before. Electrical face plates were painted around, not taken off during the actual painting and then putting the face plates back on; many of them have been replaced. Knockdown does not match existing knockdown. The master bath shower. After the all the stone was installed, a leak was found in the shower floor; they had put drywall screws through the PVC liner. The floor and part of the travertine had to be ripped out and a new liner put in. Instead of putting in a complete new liner, they placed some new PVC over the old PVC. This gives an idea of some of the issues faced during this project; but not all. Complaints were filed with the Florida Division of Business and Professiona Regulation, please feel free to review their findings. There are still continuing civil law suits as of January 12, 2012.
Description of Work: The contract was for remodeling 2 1/2 bathrooms, replacing a front door unit that was decimated by termites, some electrical work, some general construction, installing kitchen appliances and painting the interior of the house; per contract it specifically stated the work would take 20 working days. The contract was signed October 14, 2008 with work starting in a few days; in February 2009 work was still not completed. The work stopped at that time since of the stone in the master shower had to be pulled out, more details below. I will load pictures later. No work continued after that.

Description of Work: No services performed. Gary cam to the house and took measurements. Three weeks later I called for the estimate. It is now 2 more weeks (5 in total) and no estimate. Don't call this guy if you want anything.

Don't waste your time with this company. The owner, Gary, came out to give us a quote and promised one after we emailed him a survey, which we did promptly. He never gave us a quote nor did he answer our emails or return our phone calls. He could have at least given us the courtesy of a reply, even if he did not want the job.
Description of Work: He came to give us an estimate on pouring a cement patio in our backyard. Then he deserted us and would not return our phone calls.
All work completed in a timely professional manner. Gary, the owner of the company, is on top of the work to be completed by his men. He is agreeable, with a minimum of stress involved on site. I would consider rehire this company for various "not so easy work" to be done around the house.
Description of Work: Take out Florida window, rebuild wall and reposition window stucco exterior, finish interior wall prime and paint. Replace corrugated roof with new, repair gable and repaint. Repair siding, repair 4 French door casings, repair one exterior wood/glass bottom of door. Install new outdoor faucet, new porch fan, replaced broken tile in kitchen and secure loose wire in attic. Haul away all debris. All completed...
Unbelievably smoothly. I wish A & A was available for smaller projects!!!!!!
Description of Work: A & A did a 780 foot addition to our home and we were absolutely amazed at how professional and speedy they were. They were also great at not rolling down dead whenever the inspectors tried to wrongfully fail an inspection. They are a no-nonsense construction company that I would recommend to anyone. They coordinated the entire job--permit process, foundation, concrete pouring, CBS construction, roof trusses, hurricane impact window installation, bathroom and plumbing, AC, etc. You name it they did it and they got it done right. We were grateful to have been recommended to them.
