"If We did the inspection on 2013 you write the review in 2018? This a little fishy"
"If no work is been performed, why you give us a C?"
I let them know the main thing was to try to fix our kitchen light. He said he'd have to charge me. I said OK.
He found a junction box and re-twisted some wires together for me. They crawled around in my attic for a while and said they found evidence of rats. They couldn't figure out how to fix my kitchen light and ended up leaving with the kitchen light still broken blaming it on rats. I also found out later that our doorbell stopped working so they broke this by fooling around with the wiring in the junction box.
He asked me to pay him extra around ($150) and to write the check directly to him instead of his company. Not sure what this was for but it sounded a bit shady to me.
So in summary, I paid for this "Whole Electric House Inspection" deal through Angie's List, they came out, didn't fix anything, broke my doorbell, and charged me more. I'm cancelling Angie's List because of this and am writing this review in hopes that others don't get caught in this situation with this company.
