These folks are “top shelf”! They are professional and courteous. They came back, cheerfully and at no charge, to address a minor water-puddling issue from rains. They do what they say at the price they quote. We will definitely use them again if needed

They gave me a reasonable quote to do exactly what I needed. They didn't try to sell me more than I needed. I really appreciate that. They did an excellent job. It took about a half day and the job is very good, quality work. I am very happy with them and would use them again for my concrete needs.

It was great. The owner, Todd, was very professional and his employees worked hard to do as I requested. He was punctual and friendly. I could not have asked for more.

The owner was very professional and handled the job in a timely manner. The entire process went smoothly and turned out beautifully. I am hiring this company to complete a patio next month. I have referred him to many neighbors, friends, family, and co-workers. I was extremely impressed with the work. Job well done!!!

It looks great! Todd was very diligent in getting things done and also patient as I was required to wait to start longer than expected (and not because of him). He had excellent communication thru the process.

It went so far for us to get him to pay his bills that they were going to put a lien on our house after we paid him in full 60 days prior which was a total of $15,000 so his reviews on the internet were not accurate as far as we could tell. Prestige Contracts has the lien papers and we worked with him until we got him to pay. I paid him on April 8th and he didn't make payment to them until June. Even if we paid him in full, it didn't matter we were still responsible for his bill even if he gave us a form that said that we weren't responsible that it didn't mean a thing. He finished the job on the first of April but it wasn't done correctly so we had to redo it. We wrote our final check to him, we did our withdrawal, and wrote the final check on April 8th. Because he subcontracted the workout, the driveway went well, the deck was a fiasco and we would not pay him until he finally had somebody work it up so you couldn't see the way it was poured. It was supposed to look like a square and it looked like a pyramid with the top cut off. The driveway was fine. At first he had given us options that were going to work and my husband finally told him we've got 3 options so we got it fixed. We liked the man but you can't put our house at risk because in a year with a lien, the concrete company will have our house if we didn't pay them. It was $6,000 owed to the concrete company. Overall, I like the man and I knew he worked hard but he needs to clean his act up. I don't want anybody to get stuck with us. A company like that should be able to afford to pay their cost. We got 2 lien notices while he was working until this contract. One was from the form company and then the concrete company so I'm not happy about that. If I had to go dinner with the man, I like the man, I am not saying that he is trying to make his company work but he's got some financial difficulties. I would not recommend him to anybody because you got to make sure your bills are paid. The price was reasonable. This made me very negative towards Angie's List because I chose him off of the list. I was very upset with Angie's List because of that. I would not use Angie's List again.

"The concrete bills were paid.Concrete companies sends out a notice to every job this is called N.T.O.''NOTICE TO OWNER/NOTICE TO CONTRACTOR.as for the patio I returned and went above and beyond to make the patio right by adding wider steps and brick borders at my cost."

He didn't pay his concrete bill and we've been contacted by the company. They say that there are several people that he has done work for that he had not paid the bills on, and we were one of the smaller bills and our bill was $407. They tried to contact him, but he doesn't answer the phone. He did what he said he was going to do. He repaired a couple of sections in our driveway and there was a chip in one of the joining sections that he was going to come back and repair and he never did. I've called him to pay the concrete bill and he said he was going to, but then the provider called me back and said that he had not paid it. He is a nice guy, but I don't know what the problem is. In retrospect we should have held his money back until we knew that he had paid all his bills. The work was fine, but I would pay for the concrete myself or I would make him proof that he has paid all his subcontractors before I would give him his final payment. He wasn't the cheapest. And I don't know if it matters if he did a good job if I have to end up paying for it twice.

"The concrete bill was paid.I explained to [member name removed] that the concrete company sends out a N.T.O. ''Notice to Owner'' which is normal I am on a 30 day net.As for the concrete company telling [member name removed] that I had several people that I've done work for and not paid the bill is false.I called the concrete company to verify his comment they assured me that they DO NOT give that information out.As for the chip on his driveway that was already there I grinded a trip hazard for him at no charge,"

Terrible.  There were issues all along.  We got a homeowner's notice that Todd Melton had not paid for the concrete which he finally did pay for.  If he had not, we would have had to pay for it.  We received a letter from the City of Jacksonville that Todd had not pulled a permit, as required, to replace the driveway.  He did go down and pay for the permit plus the penalty.  However, according to the City inspector, the driveway was not built to City Code.  Since the driveway was already built, Todd had to come back out and cut a line where he should have had a spacer when the driveway was being built.  Plus, the inspector said the driveway was not thick enough and should have been 3/4 inch thicker but they were not going to make him re-do the driveway.  Make sure you call the City before Todd does any work for you because he will not pull a permit because he does not want a City inspector looking over his shoulder.

Todd Melton came out to give an estimate. A few days later, he followed up and offered competitive pricing. They were always punctual, professional and knowledgeable. The job took 3 days. Todd continually made sure we were happy with the progress. Todd and the crew did a fabulous job from start to finish. We are extremely happy with the outcome and would highly recommend them.

They were the only ones who called and gave me a price.  The didn't do a little bit of clean-up; they should've back-filled dirt and sod and I had to do that myself.

Since they are a small company I feel like it's more of a personal service. The experience went real well and the price was great. Scott is a real nice guy and very accommodating. I really appreciate the work they did.

The instructions to Todd Melton were to make it match the current walkway from the front door to the driveway. I had flags in the ground staked where the concrete was to be poured. Very little matched once the job, so far, has been "partially completed." In fact, the only thing that matched was the surface of the sidewalk which was rocksalt holes and frame etching on the surface. He did get the anchor for non-latch door concreted in the right location, however the sidwalk is not straight (perpendicular to house). Currently it is in the process of being "so-called corrected," and I'm on my second promise date of repair. Basically, Todd appears to have been listening to only certain parts of the job when I described how the sidewalk should be laid (I had flags in the ground for crying out loud of which he totally disregarded) and came out and just did whatever he wanted. He was following my (what appears to have been understood as) "basic suggestions" as to how to do the job. There seemed to be some dispute over him getting his money right after the job was completed even though I had already told him (and he admitted) the job wasn't done to my description. He said he didn't even look at the other sidewalk running from my front porch to the driveway before he did the job. He called me at my job, somewhat consistantly the day I notified him the job was incorrect, requesting to meet me near my job and "collect." For a $900 job it sounded like he might go out of business if he didn't collect from me right away (even though the job was incorrect). I reluctantly paid him (of which he would only accept checks-which should have been a WARNING flag), meeting him at the Post Office, and am still currently waiting (almost 1 month later) for the job to be completed. Not Satisfied at all! Could not recommend this contractor. He won't return calls. Can I say "CROOK" here?

Came in morning at designated start time - finished up the walkway removal in short order. Got the driveway job set for the pour, helped dig out a really gnarled up bush stump with Bobcat. Finished up 1st day by maybe 2pm or so. Came back in day or two and coordinated the concrete providers and did the pour--finished in couple more hours. Came back 3-4 days later and removed the form board for the concrete and added the expansion cuts.
