I hired this company to cut the lawn, trim the bushes, and weed. They started out OK but went downhill. The lawn was not cut uniformly, the bushes were not trimmed properly and weeds totally took over the flower beds. Didn?t show up for two weeks; tried contacting them and left messages. Didn?t return phone calls. Finally got someone in the office on and was told someone would be there that day. The person who showed up was supposedly one of the owners. He failed to answer why the service hadn't been done for two weeks. He took issue with my raising my concerns about the terrible service and then stated that he would "finish" the service that day but then had the nerve to state they would not continue my lawn service. What a terrible way to do business. Of course, they never showed up again. I can?t describe how incompetent this person was. Some areas cut others not; some of the bushes cut others not. Then he blew all the debris into the flower bed. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

When edging the lawn, they cut my landscaping light wires in two places. Instead of fixing them or replacing them, they frayed wires in the two fixtures and then took one light with them to “match”. The employee told me that he was taking it and wouid be back the next day to replace it. Several days later the owner denied taking it and refused to fix it or replace it. Don’t hire this company. They do not answer calls, texts or emails and will cut and run on you if they damage something. Their word means nothing.

Wanda, Rob & their team, did an outstanding job on the Pergola they built on my deck, as well as on the removal of an old cracked concrete sidewalk, & replacing with stunning brick pavers. They also created a paver walk way to an outside shower; that previously could only be accessed by walking through the grass; a tremendous & very appealing addition! Landscape Remedies & team were very amicable, easy to work with, stayed within my budget & went way above & beyond to ensure I was very satisfied & happy with the end results!! I cant thank you enough for what you have created here Wanda, I love it more and more each day. I love going outside now too. I wake up hearing my windchime in the morning and I go out on my balcony and look out at all the beauty. Then I go out and ealk down my path to my gazebo and look out at the water. Its just so beautiful:) Each time I leave or come home when its at night I stop in the road for a minute and look at my beautiful home. Its just amazing. There arent even enough words to express how much I appreciate what you have done here:):):) ??????????

They did a beautiful job updating the flower beds and made our backyard a refreshing retreat. We had some problem with the patio. The fresh pavers they used to edge the original patio started to sink, but they returned and fixed the problem and used sod to stabilize the edge. It looks great! When I get more extra money, I am going to have them update my yard lights.

Wanda came out for our first appointment on time and had some very good ideas for making the spaces as nice and work-free as possible since my husband and I both have chronic illnesses that make yard work difficult. I had an estimate in about 3 days, and the price was more than fair. I asked if the work could be done by a certain date because I had guests coming. Wanda and her crew were able to meet the date. They were easy to communicate with and returned emails and phone calls in a prompt manner. We are thrilled with the job. It's like having a whole new house.

.But their integrity and keeping prices fair is refreshing....I'd use them again when needed... I do admire Wanda.....LR had some employees with hurricane issues that prevented them from coming to work. She picked up the slack... Wanda and Rob own and run this enterprise very well. When Rob injured his foot, and was laid up awhile, Wanda picked up the slack again, and all went well. Maybe a little tardy for appointments, but it was all on her shoulders.... Rob is back and they are now chugging along at full speed and punctual with meetings. I never had to have them come back to address a problem with their work.....But they make it very clear...."Call us if you are not happy and we will make it right" No I am not related to them...strictly professional...

Wanda arrived on the day we agreed upon to look at and provide an estimate for the job we were wanting done. She seemed very nice, eager to please, took measurements and said she'd email me with a price. A few days later I received her quote and we met once again after agreeing to hire the company for the job. She and her husband came out and looked at the area, we discussed plans and when they would start. Her husband suggested a "soldier row" to finish the pavers and I thought that sounded good. Mind you I was new to the paver concept. We discussed polymeric sand and the added cost of $100, she said definitely a good way to go in order to keep weeds away. She told me I needed to write a check to pay for the pavers to be ordered from Tremron which I did, not knowing any better at the time. It took a few weeks for them to be delivered but once here we prepared for installation to start in late March. Everything started out really well and looked great. I was even texting her about a seating wall. Upon writing the final check she advised me it was an additional $400 to which I was like excuse me? Well the sand install is more labor intensive, seriously you said $100 and she immediately no i didn't. She proceeds to tell me that she paid $31 a bucket for 9 buckets of Sarkrete polymeric sand at Home Depot. Two days later I'm in Home Depot, it's actually $19.97 everyday. This is when I knew I was in trouble. I actually wrote the check for an additional $300 and requested a receipt. (Still waiting) I asked about the soldier row that was not done and the extra pavers that were left seeing as though I had to pay for her to order them only to be told I charge by the square foot any leftovers are mine and you didn't have enough pavers to do the soldier course. Okay how do we fix it I asked? You need to order 2 more cubes of pavers because the 6x9 pavers are not sold separately. I called Tremron only to be told they are and what project of hers was I paying to finish. Within about 3/5 days we started noticing what at the time were small issues, cracked pavers, pavers pushing up and a few that had kind of sunk down some, not to mention the sand install was horrible. I had texted Wanda a few times and she finally responded. I wasn't home at the time and she said I'm going to come by and you don't need to come out I'm just going to look at everything to which I replied, "I'd prefer to be home when you come. Oh I'm here and will be gone in just a few. So after telling her no she came out anyway. After nearly 4 weeks Wanda came back out and they attempted to correct the issues to no avail actually making some worse. The polymeric sand was to be pressure washed out and replaced with a ultra fine polymeric sand because my paver joints were so tight that the Sakrete sand was to course for the job (the joint spaces were to small, needed a minimum of a 1/4 inch for their product) which I had no where close to that. I only know this after contacting Sakrete directly and talking to a rep and sending pictures to which they informed me their product would not work. Afterwards Wanda said that's just how it is and we don't use polymeric sand very much. But when talking about sand types she recommended it so I was kind of confused. I then proceeded to contact Alliance, makers of (Gator Maxx Sand what Tremron recommends) the rep for Southeast Florida came out and confirmed that the install of sand wasn't right. He advised me as well as the Sakrete rep that all the paver joints would need to be pressure washed out, let dry for 24 hours then come back with the ultra fine sand. That didn't happen, they used a spinning head, Wanda had a flat head screw driver trying to chip out the old sand in the process chipping pavers and then one of the workers opened the new sand and proceeded to sling it everywhere with attitude. We asked about using the compactor to see if that would help with the unevenness only to be told no it'll just break the pavers. Really? They do driveways with what we put down so that didn't make sense. At that point we left the back porch due to the dust and they started wetting it down. My new fountain and back porch were covered in this mess. They left and we stayed off of the patio to let it dry. Once it was we were shocked at the absolute mess, spinning head marks on the pavers, clumps of old and new sand together and areas with no sand. So here we are 7 months later and we have hills and valleys, ugly sand that's 2 different colors, broken paver, stabilizing edge that's crumbling in places, separation in a few spots, some fish bowls and no resolutions. I have tried to contact her numerous times only to get back, "I just don't see any issues" or " I hope you come to love your patio" and my favorite "until you, we have never had a complaint of any sorts". I have since had 2 independent contractors come out and give me suggestions and quotes to fix the issues. I sent the information to her only to get back, "they just want your business". So my husband gets involved and she responds for a little bit and finally agrees to send one of her (friends/contractor) out to look at the patio all while telling my husband she'd prefer no one be home! Seriously? To which his reply was that's not going to happen, we don't allow anyone on the property with out one of us home. She then goes on to tell him not to speak to him when he comes. Oh my goodness! A couple weeks later Chad comes out and my husband takes him out back to show him the patio and he agrees there are some issues without going into any real detail. Nearly two weeks later we are once again calling Wanda for an update. She advised us Chad would be doing the repairs and they'd pay him. That was five weeks ago at present. We've heard nothing from Chad, other than my husband was able to get him on the phone for like 2 minutes and we never heard back. I emailed Wanda and asked shouldn't she clear any suggested repairs thru us the homeowners seeing as though the contractors we had come out "only wanted our business"? I never in a million years thought I'd have to deal with such dishonesty. We waited a long time to have this done and thousands of dollars later it's a mess. We have friends that have had patios down for years and they don't look like ours. All I've wanted is for them to take ownership and fix the problems. It's only going to get worse and when my retaining edge totally gives my pavers will start sliding. Wanda comes across as a honest, caring, lady and talks a good game until the check is cashed. I guess we are going to have to take this to the next level since we can't seem to get any thing done. My advise to everyone, get every single detail and cost in writing it's the only way to protect yourself.

We meet at the location, her name was Wanda I gave her a check for 500.00 and we agreed on the following week. The following week she did not show.......this went on for about 12 weeks or three months excuse after excuse........finally her people showed up, I was at work and was told they were only there for about an hour they threw some dirt around approx. 20'x20' area and butchered some bushes, they never graded or leveled anything. I called to complain and she said she believed me and would refund my money and I got a check in the mail for $100.00. They are awful and con-artist. My mistake I should know better than to pay in advance. She doesn't appear or act like a con though so have your guard up she is very kind and sweet, manipulative, and has one excuse after another..... on the phone, don't let that phone recording to be blessed fool you. That is what scam artist cons do.

It was a slow process due to the weather but the work was completed in a fair amount of time. Everything looks good and it was a major improvement from what it was. My only complaint is that there was no prep work to the soil before new plants and sod were installed. There are peaks and valleys in the flower beds along with the plants that were supposed to have been removed starting to grow back. I understand that ornamental grass is hard to completely remove but I have azaleas and other bushes growing back in the flower beds. Also I paid to have a ground cover plant removed and new to dirt and sod installed in its place. Plants were not fully removed as I asked and dirt was not raked before sod was installed. Now I have high and low spots in addition to the ground cover plant growing back thru the sod. I hate to say anything negative because Wanda and Rob are so nice and they really gave me a great price. But for $8500 I expected a little more attention to detail in the prep work before new plants and sod were installed. Overall I am happy with the work that was done but I'm a little frustrated at some of the short cuts that were taken during the prep work prior to plant and sod installation.

Landscape Remedies has handled my lawn for several years. They have always been accommodating and typically very good service. They have been very responsive when urgent requests come up.

Very good.  Good price and were able to do the job quickly.  I'd use them again.

The Mericles are extremely conscientious.  They have taken care of our yard for over 5 years and I wouldn't consider using another service.  They do the small things that other lawn services that we have employed in the past do not take the time to do.  They also put in and maintain our lawn lighting.  I have been extremely pleased with the aesthetic effect.  I like a pretty lawn, and I depend upon Landscape Remedies to keep ours looking its best.

The owners left their workers who sat around and talked on cell phones most of the day. They trenched the backyard and layed the pipes, but did not bury them deep enough, or in some cases, didn't even glue the adjoining pieces together. The pipes keep blowing up through the ground. And in several areas, you could see the pipes at the top of the ground. Then the trenchers dug all around my 65 year old live oak tree, cutting off all roots which would bring water to the tree, and it died. A tree company had to come out and remove this beautiful old shade tree from my backyard. Landscape Remedies did such a poor job that we had to hire another irrigation company to come out and completely reinstall the pipes and valves. They finally agreed to bring out another tree (weeping willow) to "replace" the oak that they killed. It is very sparse and I am not completely sure that it is going to thrive. So, by using this company....we lost a wonderful shade tree, and had to pay twice for the same irrigation project. Beware!!

Poorly. Company did not properly grade yard and we have water standing for long periods after irrigating and rain. Also, quality of sod and installation was poor. Have refused to redo grading.
