They weren't the lowest quote we received, but after talking with Mike, I felt like they would do a quality job, so we went with them. I was very happy with the results. There were some difficult aspects of the job, including two rooms that had plaster on the walls that needed to be smoothed and sanded, and they turned out even better than I was hoping. The team he sent out was courteous and professional and a pleasure to work with. When they were nearing finish, I pointed out a few things that I felt like could be better and they quickly fixed them without hassle or issue. All in all, I felt like their focus was on doing a quality job and I was extremely happy with how everything turned out.

Everything went great! In July 2018, we had 3 large rooms painted, extensive wood damage repaired, and drywall repaired. Mike was incredibly responsive to scheduling a time for a quote and a time for the work. All workers were professional, communicative, and prompt. We are very happy with the final product. No complaints. We will use again for paint and repair. We are glad we used a local company and got great results.

I received a few different estimates from contractors with good reviews. The estimates ranged from $3000 to over $9000 to convert a shower wall to a half wall, raise the shower ceiling, add a vent fan, and replace all the tile. Island Paint was just slightly over the lowest bid but would not be using subcontractors and could work with the very tight time frame I had to renovate between tenants. From the very beginning the owner Mike was able to provide guidance through the process and assist with decisions of how to expand the small and dated shower without blowing the budget. The workers that ultimately performed the work were very knowledgeable and provided service beyond any that was expected. We ultimately missed the deadline by a day, but it was due to issues with my 20 year old plumbing and a few upgrade choices that I made. The guys worked over the weekend to make up the time and ensure that the tenants could move in as scheduled. I would recommend this company hands down and plan to use them in the future for my other rentals and personal property.

Crew arrived on time. Very careful moving furniture, artwork, decorations and took great care in protecting floors and items. Attention to detail was outstanding. Would strongly recommend and would hire again

Honesty with Advice garnered from years of experience as a general contractor. From the initial consultation with Mike Buckley of Island Paint & More, through the end of the project, and even afterwards checking in to make sure we were happy with the results he and his crew at performed. I felt like he was advising me with the care & sensibility he’d pour into his own home. Mikes guidance right from the get go was sage. Giving us the ideas and solid workmanship we wanted, while steering us clear of industry pitfalls and foolish expenses. From the roof repair we had to have quickly after the hurricane a couple years back. Then later repair & painting our exterior stucco home. And most recently restoring our home to better than new after the plumbing had failed causing multi room damage. The man takes care of you. Listening to your needs and to your budget constraints and stays by your side through the whole project. He came from a military family so he understood working with us through a deployment situation. You can get anybody to fix your home, but this guys sensibility is a throw back in time coupled with the latest knowledge.

Mike and his team, Franz and Chris, have done multiple painting jobs at our home here in Eagle Harbor over the years and will definitely be called upon to do so in the future. Their attention to detail, care with doing the entire job correctly (caulking, carpentry, prep, paint, clean, inspection, quality assurance) and courteousness is awesome. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for these types of services. All good guys who are proud of the work that they do. It's no wonder that their business continues to grow.

Island Paint & More are very reliable, communicative, hard-working, kind, and trustworthy. They did a fabulous job removing 3 areas of wallpaper in the house which also included smoothing out the walls, which was not an easy task considering the wall height. The painting crew were all very friendly, customer-satisfaction oriented, and showed up every day until the job was done. This included several paint color changes mid-project, which they were very accommodating about. Island Paint & More is definitely more than a painting company as they were able to do many other handyman-type projects including replacing faucets, installing a bathroom vanity, removing a wet bar, valance removal, relocating electrical sockets, etc. There was only one small issue with the bathroom vanity installation not being totally flush with the wall, but it turns out the wall is actually not square. Mike and team tried multiple fixes for the issue and with a simple addition of a small backsplash, the issue will not be noticeable. I would definitely hire them again in the future for painting or other home projects - great quality at a reasonable price.

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience with Mike. He returned every call I made to him. His communication is outstanding always keeping me posted throughout the projects. Mike also remodeled my master bathroom and it is beautiful. Not one problem with any of the work he has done for me. His pricing is really good - I had gotten other estimates and Mike came in best of all. He also gave me a couple of discounts.
