Very good experience.

We have two small dogs and have had pets of this type for many years. One of the problems with this type of pet is that they are anxious and sometimes stop eating and drinking which can lead quickly to dehydration. We've been through this many times so we recognized the symptoms. This is treated with a short round of fluids and the dog recovers quickly. Our regular vet of many years had had a medical problem and was unavailable so we took one of our dogs here. The vet we saw insisted on doing some costly tests before she would give him anything and diagnosed him with back problems. She refused to give him fluids. I explained many times that I was fairly sure he only needed fluids but she insisted that his problem was a back injury of some kind and further stated that his knee would need surgery soon. We were aware that he had patellar lunation which is common in dogs like ours, but our regular vet said we should not be concerned unless it gets drastically worse. The medicine she gave us made my dog much worse and it took weeks for him to recover. She determined that it was not the medicine she gave him, but he had a digestive system problem that he would have to live with forever. To make a very long, very expensive story shorter, we threw away all the medicines, took him to a vet who agreed to just give him fluids, put him on a different food (I highly recommend Castor and Pollux Organix for dogs with allergies) and he hasn't had a problem since. The dog food also relieved the tearing and staining near his eyes. This clinic gives "I wouldn't take my dog there" new meaning

They are very meticulous and care for the dogs. They are very caring and attentive to the care and needs of our dogs.

I have used this vet for over 18 years now. They saved my mini schnauzer's life when she had a kidney stone, have spayed our dogs, treated eye problems, heart murmurs, congestive heart failure, as well as routine annual exams. Last year when I had to finally had to make the decision to euthanize my beloved schnauzer, the doctors and assistants were almost as grieved as I was. They had known Clancey since she was born. They have always been caring and considerate. When I adopted another schnauzer from rescue later that year, I took her right to Fleming Island so that they could meet her and check her out.

We love using this company. They are very well known in this area. They specialize in exotic pets and most any kind of pet birds. We are treated very good by the people there. They take very good care of the animals and they love what they do. They do have good competitive prices for the services they provide. I do not recall exactly how much it cost for our last visit.
