Outstanding. Dillon and Tyler (install team) were on time, very professional in their approach, replaced more duct work than I anticipated, and explained system operations and maintenance items (to be done by me) very thoroughly. These guys are GREAT!!!

They promptly replaced a failing system. The workmen did a good job of installation but there was a faulty part. It leaked slowly for 24 hours before it leaked through into carpeting in the hall. There was damage through hallway, flooring in utility room and to objects stored on the floor. The work that the workmen did was well done however, the company owner was not at all helpful in working with manufacturer and distributor to try to either replace system or recompense for damages. System cost $7400.Owner requested only $800.00 for damages including cleaning of carpeting.

Rather than throw more and more money into our existing HVAC system, we decided to go with a new one. I spoke with Rick on the phone concerning various options, including the possibility of going with a mini-split system. Within the hour he emailed various proposals. I emailed him back that we really were not sure which options would be best for us, so he agreed to come out and study our layout. He arrived when he said he would, reviewed our home, and spent a great deal of time answering our questions and explaining various options. He was patient and professional. We wanted to incorporate an air purification system add-on into the system. Rick told us he installs and recommends the REME-HALO, and much to his surprise, upon checking out Amazon, discovered that unit could be purchased for less than what he pays for them. He told us if we would order the unit, he would install it for us when they installed the new system. We were very grateful for the suggestion because it saved us around $500.00. We were also impressed with the integrity of a company which would willingly "lose a sale" for the benefit of their customers.
On the day of the install, Alya and Obit arrived promptly. They were very neat, clean, professional, and friendly. I really had no concept of what is involved in removing an old HVAC system and installing a new one. It is a huge job. After they had removed the air handler, we found  stains, mold, and dirt on the wall. Alya wiped the entire area down with peroxide and cleaned up the floor. He patiently allowed me time to paint the wall with a mold killing primer. While Obid worked on removing the old and installing the new outside compressor, Alya spent the better part of the day to constructing the air handler box. It was obvious they both take pride in doing their work well. Unfortunately for them, there had been some miscommunications resulting in some wrong  and missing parts, but Milt's sent several trucks out over the course of the day, and Obid made several trips into town, so all was rectified. They never took a break, and just before they left, around 8:00 PM, the gigantic mountain of debris in our driveway had magically vanished and we were good to go.
The following day, Alya came out to check on the units and set up our Total Comfort System. Because of the outside humidity, the mastic had not completely dried on the air handler and was running down the sides and back of the box. He cleaned it up and applied more mastic to the seals. Since the outside humidity is very high, the mastic is still running. I called Milt's and we decided it was pointless to address the issue until the humidity was low enough for the mastic to dry.
All in all, we couldn't be happier with our new high efficiency system, Milt's, and their staff and installers. Alya and Obid
were respectful of our home, worked hard, and despite their setbacks and late night job completion, always maintained a friendly, upbeat attitude. Milt's is THE way to go for HVAC.

We called them because we smelled a burning when the air conditioner turned on.  We thought it could be the heat strips coming on.

They arrived on time and the technician checked the system.  He determined that the system was running properly and was only slightly low on Freon.  He never tried to up sell us any additional work, which we appreciated.

Not cooling and dripping water in the saftely pan. Called on Thursday morning 8 am, Rusty came out at 11 am. Diagnosed not only 2 leaks, one major, filled up coolant, and gave us several options to choose from for a long term solution. We decided on a new unit. He thought the coolant wouldn't hold long so they rushed the order and installation. Monday morning they showed up. Worked all day and the level of service and professionalism was just outstanding. We also moved the air condenser to a different location which required additional coordination and effort. They were sooo professional, covered floors, vacuumed afterwards, very friendly. Highly recommended.

Excellent sales and service experience. Our HVAC system failed, and I called Milt's for the initial service call. They responded promptly, diagnosed the problem, and ultimately provided a quote for a new system which included a wide variety of choices/options. I called several small, large, and corporate competitors. In the end, not only was Milt's price the best, but the level of service and professionalism was just outstanding. We moved the air handler to a different location which required additional coordination and effort. Rick, the owner, visited in advance and on the day of installation. His team was thorough, knowledgeable, friendly, clear and prompt. Highly recommended.

They didn't know who I was and I just called and asked them to service one of our rental properties in another state (theirs).  Immediately the next day went to property and assessed problem correctly diagnosing it.  Ordered the part and charged the system sufficiently so that the tenants were comfortable.  Fixed the problem when the part came in and BILLED ME.  As previously noted they didn't even know me but trusted me to pay them.I called them immediately and paid over the phone in appreciation of that trust.  I am calling them again this morning because another unit in another property needs attention.  They are the Go-To for us in AC and heat from this point on.  Couldn't think of a more competent or pleasant people to work with

We recently purchased a home on AI.  Apparently the prior owner had
contracted with Milt's for HVAC work (new compressor and air-handler) and then sold the home to us
shortly after the units were installed.  No inspection was performed at that
time.  Several months passed while we purchased, closed and moved into
the home.  Milt's called us and said that Nassau County had requested an
inspection of the work.  Milt's sent a service tech to look over the
install prior to the County inspection.
The Milt's tech was excellent.  He found several issues with the installation and set about
correcting them immediately.  He worked for several hours rebuilding the
plenums, securing the duct-work, adding hurricane straps to the condenser unit and installing a new equipment
disconnect in the attic (the old one was missing a cover that could not
be duplicated...hence replacement).  The tech explained the system to me, completed the annual maintenance and left. 
The County was happy (and thorough), I was happy and there was no cost to me for the work.
Everyone makes an occasional error; what sets a great company apart is taking ownership of a problem and fixing it.
All-in-all, a very favorable experience.  Thank you to Milt's!  We will be using them going forward.

The technicians from Milt's were professional, courteous, and good guys. 
We have not had an interruption in service since the replacement of the relay switch.
The improvement to the condensation drain line should ensure water will not back up and overflow inside the A/C unit. We can pour bleach in the line to avoid mold and mildew buildup. Since mold/mildew is a concern for us, we appreciate the piece of mind the relatively simple change provides.
I was also able to speak to the head of Milt's, Rick Crawford, to learn who he recommends for air duct cleaning services. Rick was helpful. He provided the names of two groups he trusts.
I will call Milt's again should I have a problem with my A/C system. They listened to our concerns and addressed them

Milt's is good. They were great. I've used them a lot of times. They're punctual. They were like the third AC company that I called once and the two prior companies couldn't figure out what the hell the problem was, and they figured it out in like five minutes. Their people are good, and their pricing is always reasonable. And for someone that - that house is like six hours away from my primary house so they always have to deal with my tenants and they have to deal with calling me to figure out a time and then tell me how much the amount is. Those guys are great. They're easy to work with.

Because we have an old house we needed creative solutions due to ductwork, HVAC location etc.
Milts provided all this.  When we were concerned about the noise of the new unit - Milts continued to work until a solution was found.
The workers and owner are all very professional, punctual and pleasant.  We would have Milts come back.

I called Milt's on 02/17/2012 and told them we were ready to have the Cleaneffects filter installed. Rick was out of the office, but they told me they would have him call me on Monday. I has forgotten we had appointments in Jacksonville on Monday, so we called Milts from there. It turns out they had called and come out. I apologized and since we were on the way back home, they said they would see if the techs could swing by. A half an hour later, they called me to say the techs couldn't make it, but would be out on Tuesday. They came on time, took the necessary measurements, and, at my request, crawled arounf in the attic to check for any air duct leaks. Later that afternoon, they called me with the price and told me they could install it on Friday. They arrived on time and installed the filter. They also checked to make sure any and all leaks were sealed. All in all, we are, and have been very happy with Milts. The grapevines at both my husband and my place of employment highly recommends Milts. As mentioned, they installed our replacement air conditioner/heat pump when our old one falied, and we have nothing but praise for them. I know their "C" rating is calculated as a mean of all reviews, but I think it is unfortunate that it has the potential to put people off. In our book - Milt's is definitely an A!

10/11/2014: The Trane Clean Effects Air filter died during the first year. Since it was under warrenty, Milt's replaced it free of charge. The filter has died once again while still under warrenty. Apparently, Trane has the filter on backorder because it has been several months and the new filter still has not arrived. When I have called Milts, I get an answering service operator who passes my message on to the technicians. They do return my calls, and the filter is still on backorder. I was told they are on top of it and I will get my filter as soon as it comes in. Right now, I am not too happy with Trane.
