Island Inspections

Darrell with Island Insoections did a fabulous job with the inspection. The level of detail, thoroughness and care in his inspection was excellent. The report created was very well documented with written descriptions and detailed photos. Communication and follow up was great. I have purchased 5 home in 15 years and Darrell was by far the best inspector i have ever used.  He was very thorough and spent the time to educate me on various parts of the house I was unfamiliar with having never lived in this type of climate.  He even found a small issue with some small termite damage that the WDO inspector missed (who was there at the same time.) . Highly recommend!!!!

We ended up gutting the place but everything he noted of concern turned out to be true. Best yet there were no additional surprises during remodeling.

APPT. WAS @ 8:30AM, I SHOWED UP RIGHT AT 8:30 AND DARRELL WAS ALREADY THERE, AND WAS ON THE ROOF HAD ALREADY BEEN THERE UNDER THE HOUSE AND WAS ON TOP. GREAT COMMUNICATIONS.  VERY, VERY PROFESSIONAL.
DARRELL FINISHED AROUND 10 AM, AND HE TOLD ME THE REPORT WOULD BE READY AROUND NOON. MY HUSBAND AND I WENT TO BREAKFAST, GOT HOME CHECKED EMAIL AROUND NOON AND SURE ENOUGH REPORT WAS THERE. VERY EASY TO READ AND UNDERSTAND. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND WOULD USE AGAIN.

They actually did really good. He's very thorough. The prices were average. I would most definitely use them in the future.

Darrell completed his inspection at 1 PM on a Monday, and his completed report was available the next day by 9 AM.  I was impressed by the completeness of the report.  The pictures and explanations were detailed enough to understand exactly what the issues were even though I'm not familiar with homebuilding terminology.

We had a 9am appointment. Darrell showed up about 10 minutes early and got right to work. He was very friendly and answered all my questions. This is the first home I'm going to punches in FL, so I had a lot of questions. He took a lot of piCtures and included them in his report. The report is available for viewing online the next day. I thought his attention to detail and his explanations were great. If you are buying a home in Nassau county I would go with Darrell.
