Grass On The Grow

Used his services for about a year but when my lawn didn't look good, I asked him what the plan was. He responded very unprofessional blaming ME for how bad the lawn looked. I'm getting a new lawn guy.

As much as we like to give a recommendations to our neighbors for people or services when we have a great experience, we also feel strongly about sharing a warning about people or services when we have a negative experience. We hired Randall and Grass on the Grow for landscaping and lawn maintenance. If anyone is considering hiring a lawncare or landscape company, we would just like to share that we would NOT recommend Randall and Grass on the Grow. Initially things were fine, but after questioning a plant he installed, he became extremely combative and refused to finish the scope of agreed upon work that we had already paid for. Trying to kindly reason with him became a nightmare, all of which we have documented in text messages. After our final message exchange with Randall, which became downright disturbing, we will never allow him on our property again. We would suggest avoiding any dealings with Randall Boughton and Grass on the Grow.

I am still a bit baffled over here at the unprofessional manner in which Randall handles his business and his attitude. We increased our service to every week, which was not normal for his services, a couple times when he did not show up at his normal time, I emailed him a few hour later to make sure he did not forget about me. Both times I emailed him he showed up within the half hour so then I began wondering if I was promoting him to show up with my email or if I was jumping the gun and he was showing up anyway. He did not show up on hurricane warning day, which I understood, and then the following week he also did not show up. This time I waited until the next day to ask him when he was coming and he showed up an hour later. So this Monday, 4pm came and no Randall, so I emailed him to make sure he was coming, I even put a smiley face emoji he showed up literally 10 minutes later. So here I am like, omg, what is happening? lol!! So while Iâ m bent down planting in the front yard, my husband walked out front (my husband had no idea about my emailing Randall, btw) and Randall walks at him from down the street and yells out, â Do you guys have a fxxxxxx problem?!â Whoa! Not sure Randall had to handle it that way, but he did, so my husband replied, â Nah man, no problem here, but how about you do not come back anymore, we will hire someone else. And on that note, Randall chose to do the neighbors lawn and then drove away leaving us hanging. We paid for a month and he did not follow through with his obligation, but instead, chose to get butt hurt, yell, and rip us off. Whatever, dude, you sxxx. You are not THAT good at mowing lawns to be THAT rude.

Randal was very knowledgeable and professional. He was able to diagnose and fix my irrigation system issue quickly!

Project: Mow Lawn and Week Whack Professional, showed up on time, and completed the project quickly and efficiently. Did a walk-through to ensure that the work was completed to my satisfaction.

Randal with Grass on the Grow, came out to service my property. He was punctual, professional, and reasonable with his prices. My property was pretty overgrown and he weeded, edged, mowed, and removed debris. I highly recommend Randal with Grass on the Grow. I will hire him again.
