I base success on 3 aspects: 1) be able to provide an accurate estimate for the job 2) perform excellent work with quality craftsmanship 3) have a good attitude, be on time and communicate status frequently Scott and his small team outperformed on all aspects. The work performed was well managed, well installed and met all the permitting and inspection criteria for the job. The only issue was at the end of the job in obtaining all the proper paperwork from Scott to support the final cost of the job, which was successfully accomplished in the end. I can recommend 1st Coast Construction and Scott Ketelsen to anyone who needs a job performed that requires a General Contractor licensed in the State of Florida, and who wants to have a contractor the actually performs some of the work with his own hands. Scott subcontracted for concrete block work, electrical, roofing, and garage door aspects, but performed the framing and all wood components himself with his team of two helpers.
