I don't enjoy posting negative reviews but can't stand the thought of someone else paying TWICE to correct Rent A Son's "repairs." Three years ago I paid Gary for a number of repairs, none of which were done to my satisfaction the first time. Gary was willing to come out to correct errors and damage caused by an improperly trained crew, but I have since had to pay AGAIN to have the underlayment in my home that was damaged by his saw cutting through my floor and hitting a water pipe and, more recently, some $3000 to replace the silicon roof coating that was improperly installed by Gary that has since caused extensive water damage to my home. Just a heads up, y'all.

Excellent work. Gary and son arrived exactly on time, presented estimate and did the work on Saturday morning. They were very polite, efficient and thorough. Would definitely hire again for other jobs.

Gary performed this work for my grandmother and it couldn't have gone any smoother. He was highly communicative, honest and the worksmanship was great. He also made my grandmother feel comfortable, which was very important.

The quality of the work was fine and the price was good. The problem is I can't get him to respond back to me so I can get him out here again. I have been waiting a week with no response. He should not leave a customer hanging and not return phone calls.

It was excellent. They showed up when they said they would. They tried to put what they said they would. They did an excellent job. They were very professional. Price was very fair. I would absolutely use them in the future.

Gary came out on 04/14/2016 to provide me with an estimate to remove a built in hot tub and many other projects I would like to do in the future.  He was very nice and provided quotes for me on most of the projects and needed to get additional pricing on a few things before getting me quotes on everything.  He listened to what I wanted and seemed very knowledgeable.

Number one on my list was to get the hot tub removed.  He came out on 04/26/2016 and did a great job!  He removed the hot tub, the tile and wood surround and disposed of it.  He also let me know he saw some termite damage while he was doing this and showed it to me.  He contacted a pest control company and had them come out and treat the termites before filing in the hole.  He was very nice and professional.  He did and great job and a left the work area very clean.  Can't wait for him to get started on the next project on our list.

II have used Gary in the past and he has done excellent work and I have given him an (A grade) in 2014.  However, even in the past he has always been brash.  I overlooked it in the past because of his high Angie list ratings and the fact that he did quality work for a reasonable price.  However, the past 2 or 3 times I have called him he has been down right rude and unprofessional.  He tells me he will call me back an never does. This is unprofessional.  When I call him to ask why he has not called me back, he gives excuses like he has been too busy, etc and is extremely rude.  All he had to do was tell me that he could not do my job so I could have found someone else in a timely manner.  Instead he drags it out and is rude to the customer.

Gary and his crew were extremely courteous and professional. We had to make changes in our house because my husband is now in a wheelchair.

Work was done well and they cleaned up afterwards. Gary did not add any extra charge to the price of materials he purchased for us.

Doors were rehung for bathroom access, and sills changed to make wheelchair usage more accessible.

We are very pleased with the work done, and plan on using this company again.

I called Gary to come out to give me an estimate on the removal of a dry sink, a shelf, and repair some drywall in my laundry room.  When he showed up,he was very pleasant, and explained to me everything that he would be doing.  We then set up a date and time for the work to be done.  He showed up on time and went straight to work, and then cleaned up after himself.  He told me that since my wall was textured he would come back after the drywall had dried and spray on some texture for me, which he did.
I am definitely hiring him again, soon, to paint around my pool area.  He is professional in every aspect of a job, from start to finish.  You will not go wrong if you hire Gary to do those odd jobs around the house.

They were awesome. They arrived on time and worked hard while they were here. They purchased all necessary materials and always cleaned up any mess before they left. Very professional and did quality work. We are usually DIYers, but using a handyman was so much easier and they did such a great job, we'll definitely use them again.

The gentleman that came to my house was right on time went right to work and never bothered us for anything. He kept going till the job was done, then he loaded the old door and frame into his truck, so I did not have to dispose of.  He presented me with a bill that was wriiten up so that I could understand and had copies ready. Thank me for my time and payment and went about his day.  I have to say this was so easy and felt at ease that the job was done right. The door works perfectly and I am one happy customer tonight.  I will use them again as I look around I have more projects that I know will be done and done well !

These guys were great, honest. clean, on time, fair priced, work was exactly as I wanted it. Would definetly reccommend them to anyone and will use them again for future projects.

Gary (owner) responded promptly to my email. He came out for an estimate the next day. Gary promised that the work would start on a Monday at 8AM, (about 5 days after the estimate). His crew was here promptly at 8 and the work began.
They tore down the old porch, cleaned and raked the site and gradually rebuilt the new porch. This porch was well built and looks great. 
They removed the gutters to get to the soffit and facia which were removed and replaced and it also looks good. The gutters were replaced with better support.
Gary was upfront with receipts for materials and his labor costs. His crew was professional, respectful, and knowledgeable about their work.
