Description of Work: Dana's work provided the most outstanding tile work I have ever seen. He was meticulous in removing all the old carpet and glue; he evened out the floor with the appropriate membrane, then skillfully HAND SET every tile on the diagonal in our 27x14 residential lanai. Then he also hand set tile vertically in two of our bathrooms [did u know very few tile people are skilled enough to be able to successfully tile up a wall, but he did it and did a gorgeous job]. The design within every tile was carefully considered before it was placed. He was very focused and committed on doing a fabulous job, and it showed. He was able to set the tile preserving the angle of the grout , width of the grout and color of the grout, to be contiguous with the tile that had already been in the house for 7 years. Most practicioners these days use short cuts and templates/'corners' to set tiles. Not this guy. His attention to detail and meticulous artistry in preserving the angles of the tiles going from inside the house onto the lanai by far was better than we ever could have asked for. I never knew there was so much to tiling. And our home will go for top money if we ever go to sell it. He even went the extra mile to clean and coat the grout to minimize it turning dark from when the rain and elements reach the tile in the lanai. It looks like a million. So grateful to have such a professional job. Decorators recommend if possible when tiling a lanai, to try and get the same tile as in the house. Even tho it had been 7 yrs, we tracked down the tile, and Dana really made a difference. He also knows alot about tile repair, and the nuances to the art of it. He trained under a master tile guy many yrs ago, and knows his stuff. Recommend him highly.
