I called Hughes for a quote to install a circuit for charging an electric car in my garage. They were used by an acquaintance. They came out and quoted me $950. That seemed high based on what others were paying. I then contacted one of the largest electrical firms in Orlando that had many great reviews here. They came out and did a very professional job for $450. They didn't know about the other quote. Glad I didn't use Hughes. Buyer beware.

Had to call back to get them to send estimate, had to call back to get them to tell me when appt would be, (over a week out). Appt never showed, no notification or reschedule. When I called to see what happened, the girl said she would call me back....never did. So, after waiting a week with no HVAC, I called another company who showed same day, fix the problem in no time (per code) for less than half what Hughes quoted.

They stuck to the problems and cleaned up and put the stove back in the correct position.

I had three estimates done for the work i needed. Hughes Electric was the only company who showed up on the agreed upon date and time. I received the estimate in a timely manner and I was notified when it was sent. My work was scheduled in an acceptable amount of time. One the day of work, the electricians arrived ahead of schedule. They were very professional and represented their company well. The work was done quickly and efficiently. Hughes Electric handled scheduling with the power company, permitting, and inspections. I did not have to mess with any of that. We will be using Hughes Electric for all of our future electrical needs.
