ALDAN ELECTRIC SUPPLY INC

I went to Aldan Electric to buy electrical material. I told the man at the counter, Pat was his name, what parts I needed and he went to the back of the store to get these parts for me. When Pat came back and totaled everything up the price seemed way too high, so I excused myself and stepped outside the store to make a phone call to another electrical supply company to compare prices. I had left some papers on the counter with my credit card laying on top of them. When I came back into the store, Pat had already swiped my credit card for the total amount and had a receipt waiting for me to sign. I was completely astonished at this! I had NOT given Pat permission to swipe my credit card. I immediately told him I did not want to purchase the items as I had found a better price at another store. Pat had a horrible attitude and while bending down behind the counter he cut his finger. He stood up and wiped his blood all over my receipt and then laid the receipt back down and said "here you go". He gave me a refund back to my credit card which can take 3-7 business days, but his attitude was very mean and he kept giving me dirty looks. My wife later called the manager of the store to explain to her the terrible experience I had with Pat, and she was rude and made no apologies. My wife asked her if she would be so kind as to fax over a note to my bank releasing the refund immediately since it was clearly Pat's fault and not mine that my credit card was charged in the first place. The manager did not want to do this, she even started yelling at my wife over the phone. My wife actually begged her to please do this since I needed that money right away to buy the electrical supplies at the other store. She reluctantly said she would fax the papers to the bank, but never did. My wife asked her who her boss was and she said she was not only the manager, but the store owner! I will NEVER go into that store again. I have never been treated so rudely or had MY credit card swiped without my consent. There is no one else to report this to that I am aware of since the lady my wife spoke with said she was the owner of the store. I have tried to find out if there is anyone further up the chain of command than her to report this to, but have come up with nothing. Just thought I'd share my experience with you.
