+ -1 moreMr. Chiodo received $1.3 million commission by closing the transaction with a substitute buyer. He agreed to pay for consulting services associated with all the work done to complete the transaction, and subsequently lawyered up to avoid meeting his agreed to obligations. He did pay his real estate attorney (a friend) for services and stiffed everyone else who worked for months on this transaction.
Description of Work: Mr Chiodo was engaged to broker a multi-million dollar real estate transaction in Naples, Florida. He proved to be an inexperienced broker with questionable ethics. He also operates a business under the name of Affluent Homes of Naples.
