They were to be there at 9a. A man named Matthew called at 9:15a and said they were running late. He asked how many floors we had, I told him 2 and he told me it would be extra. When I originally talked with Chris, at the office, I told him it was a townhome and there was an upstairs. They showed up at 10:30a. They had no pads, straps, or other equipment except for the ramp. Matthew walked in the house and said we can?t do this job for the price you were quoted. He said that I had lied on the inventory. I again said, I was going to talk with Chris because he was the one who originally gave me the quote. His partners had started to put items on the truck and in the mean time that it was going to take two trips to get it all done. Matthew got upset and said either agree to this or we?re taking the stuff off the truck, so we told him to take the few items on there off the truck. I even told them that I could arrange to take the smaller items with us to lighten the load to make things fit and they just left us.
