Full condo renovation. Work completed includes 3 bedrooms, living/dining area; popcorn ceilings removed, beautiful crown molding installed in all rooms; gorgeous ceiling beams installed in living/dining area; drywall repair where needed; beautiful paint job; new doors, flooring and light fixtures/fan installed. Their name fits … the rooms were transformed. They gave us a unique kitchen design that resolved a space issue in the current configuration and worked closely with us during the design and selection process. The kitchen is in progress and going according to plan. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Transformers. Nick and Bob are great guys, trustworthy, and truly a pleasure to work with. They do what they say they will do, in the committed timeframe; exactly what you want from a contractor. They have taken great care in protecting our belongings and keeping the place neat and clean. As a result, we were able to be there for a lot of the work. We headed to our home north just before the kitchen demo. Communication is excellent. Nick has been in constant communication with progress reports and pictures. Hurricane Ian inflicted damage on our unit. We heard from Nick the next day with a report on the damage. He’s been in constant communication, providing pictures and videos, and going above and beyond to help us deal with the damage. Dealing with the damage long distance would have been difficult otherwise. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found such an outstanding contractor.

Nick & Bob did a complete bath remodel, one of a kind custom vanity shower & wall covering, mirror & medicine cabinet custom, my house is block & a challenge to work with. We talked many times about ideas & how to make them work. Kitchen had several cabinet made to update the space & improve function, once again the guys provided their knowledge & ideas to maximize space & my budget. Everyday the job site was cleaned & next day work discussed, I was never in the dark or had concerns about my remodel. New deck was added & outside shower. My friends are so impressed with bathroom design & whole project that can't believe WE did it, I kept the details a surprise just gave them job updates. Bob & Nick have done 2 other projects for me, never would I use or recommend anyone else. If you have to wait in line for them, well worth the wait in quality & work ethic.

Since we are from out of state, we needed a contractor to do our Venice home remodel that we could trust. Nick and Bob and the Transformers were a perfect choice. The subcontractors they used were fantastic and we couldn’t be more happy with the quality of their work. We appreciated Nick and Bob’s user-friendly approach in helping us process important decisions. They always provided insightful ideas with follow up practical advice. All of the specified work, in spite of CoVid related shortages of building materials, was completed within Nick and Bob’s targeted 6 month timeframe which was nothing short of a miracle. Our unconditional thanks go to Nick and Bob. The Transformers receive our highest recommendations and an ‘A+ Rating’.

I chose the Transformers because they listened to what I wanted. We visited several homes they remodeled. It was great to see their work and to hear the wonderful recommendations from previous clients. A family friend who is an architect was very complimentary about transformers level of execution, especially in a residential setting. Transformers inquired what colors I liked and types of tiles, etc, they offered up several options for me to choose from that were within my budget. I began to trust their recommendations and was very pleased, because what they found was better than my expectations. They are hands on with all decisions, and will give advice when they are asked. They located the perfect tile, quartz, flooring and cabinets for my remodel. They even made sure to order the kitchen appliances when they went on sale. The plastic sheets kept the rest of the house clean, and they arrive on time and always clean up when they finish every day. When my budget was tight they found creative ways for me to have more storage. They supervise the plumbing, sheetrock, electrical work, painting and flooring. It is admirable when the subcontractors praise the Transformers for always having the job site prepared for them. Our cast iron pipes broke under the house foundation days away from completing the kitchen remodel. The Transformers helped us with everything. They worked with the plumbers to help us get sewer pipes fixed. They supervised the removal of the new flooring,the cutting of the floors and made sure to put rebar to make sure the cement would be strong and not crack or move. Then replaced all the new flooring, replaced sheetrock and remodeled our bathroom and utility room because they were damaged from the broken cast iron pipe under house which caused overflow in shower, toilets and sinks. They provide you with a notebook for the contract, receipts for payments, photos of all appliances and other items. Touch up paint is put into labeled mason jar to keep paint fresh. They give you have great tips on how to protect your remodel. If you want your remodel done correctly, hire the Transformers. You won’t be disappointed. We highly recommend Transformers. Bob & Nick were a great team to work with, we talked idea's about how to get what I wanted and needed from my bedroom. I felt my job was important to them even though it was a small project. Transformers Building and Remodeling came to my house within a week after calling. Although I tried to connect with another group first, they were essentially non-responsive and wasted months of time. Nick and John came out, analyzed my problems, and we decided to replace the entire shower system. I believe the shower was original and therefore, over 20 years in age. After coming out and completing a thorough inspection, within a very brief period of time I was promptly provided with Transformer's estimate. I thought it was a little high but I was told of the quantity and quality of work to be done and quality of materials to be used. I was impressed that they always use Schluter waterproofing systems. I essentially let Nick pick out the tiles for me and I provided the exterior wall paint color. During this process I was very impressed with Nick getting and staying in touch with me, informing me by phone, text and email. With everything completed but final glass installation, I love the work that has been completed. Plumbing fixtures are high quality, the shower tile is beautiful with multi-color tiles around, above and below the shower head. They had to do extra work for my steel drain. I also asked them to paint the balance of my master bathroom area and it also looks great. They also have come back out to spot-check and do some extra things for me!!! In conclusion, I was impressed by the manner in which Transformers' does business. They kept me informed throughout the process, they do high quality work by using very qualified individuals, and asked for money be paid in draws and only as work is completed. One time I wrote a check and asked Nick to pick it up and he said not until the phase of work is completed. I would also like to stress the fact that this company is very busy doing big projects but they got mine done in a reasonable time frame for me. As I said earlier, another group basically lied to me, would not contact me and never came out.

This went fantastic! We live in another country but, worked with Nick deciding on a paint color. Nick has such a keen eye for color which made it easier and more confident in our decision. To aid in this Nick painted strips of color choices complete with out existing pool cage color and trim color so we could better conceptualize the color as well as front door. Nicks paint contractor, Juan, has worked with Nick for years as well as on our other remodeling that Nick did. To say that Juan is meticulous is an understatement. Not only is he kind and thoughtful he is a fantastic painter. Takes a lot of pride in his work and it shows. Can’t recommend Nick and his team enough, so much so that we are in the process of finalizing an addition to our home with them.

Perfect. All work was done timely and to perfection. They were very professional and friendly. While we were away they check the house and the air conditioner was not working and they promptly called us and remedied the situation within 24 hours. They were a lifesaver. We continue to use them for house watch and will be employing them to do more work in the in the upcoming year.

Very professional, trustworthy-great ideas and attention to detail. Visited showrooms with us, and guided us along the way. We were a 1000+ miles away from the project, but with constant communication by text, calls, and pictures we were able to view each step of the remodel. Fantastic. We have a home to be proud of. Nick and Bob aren’t just top notch contractors they are top notch people. Both are easy to work with and have a keen eye of design,concept and color and since we are living in another country this project was completed with e mails and pictures, did not worry one bit. Nick and Bob had it all under control. Both are very creative and really appreciated their suggestions. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again, and we will. Above and beyond our expectations.

My 1980’s kitchen was updated by Nick and Bob and the results are wonderful: Granite countertop, new sink, custom-made wood cabinet doors, subway tile backsplash, recessed and under cabinet lighting. Nick listens and gives advice on what would be the most practical way to accomplish the desired results. Suggestions are made but there is absolutely never any pressure to try and upgrade the project beyond the client’s wishes. A detailed and accurate estimate is given. No surprises at completion. Work was done in a very professional manner by Nick and Bob and all the subcontractors. Everyone was courteous and did their job quietly and efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. Nick was always available to introduce a subcontractor and returned later the same day to check on the completed job. Communication was excellent and scheduled arrivals were on time. Through no fault of Transformers, a few custom doors were wrongly cut. Nick is seeing to it that new doors will be made. If you are looking for professional quality work at a fair price, and done in a courteous manner, this is the right company. I highly recommended Transformers and would call them again for another project.

Showed up on time for first appointment and gave excellent suggestions on how to proceed.
Visited showrooms together to advise on the selection of flooring, cabinets and countertop.
Gave a detailed contract for the work to be done. The estimate was very fair considering the high quality of the work performed.
I could not be more pleased with the finished product. They were very easy to work with and very considerate
in leaving the place spotless at the end of the day .The quality of the work is truly amazing and their expert
guidance transformed my kitchen and bathrooms into a beautiful space I enjoy everyday.

I know that with this amount of work there is no one else I would want to trust other than Nick and his Team. I feel secure and confident knowing that Nicks in charge. Everything is on or ahead of schedule , there is constant communication and pictures with updates and questions. He also has a great eye, be it paint colors, fixtures, lighting or anything I have questions about. Nick and his team also know what works and what doesn't and what I value about them is there ability to not cut corners in any way. Their integrity and relationships with not only us ( the owners ) but also the other contractors that they hire is one of mutual respect and that comes through the workmanship. At the end of each day Nick goes over each project with a laser eye and if there is something maybe askew will not hesitate to have it rectified. Our project is still ongoing but I know when I get there in November, everything that was committed to be finished will be and will be of the highest caliber of pride and workmanship.

Transformers did an incredible job for us. From start to finish it was seamless. They drew up several design plans for us to pick from...all so beautiful we had a difficult time deciding. Picking out tile, etc. was so easy as they provided us with catalogs making countless trips to secure samples eliminating the need for us to shop the area. First day on the job they went about protecting adjacent areas of the bathroom from dust and dirt; our hardwood floors covered in a unique and sturdy way to avoid traffic damage. Each day vacuuming was done even in our garage. We were never mired in dust particles. The expert plumber, electrician and tile setter were very professional, courteous and never wasted a moment. Nick and Bob kept us in the loop for all decisions and options. Our shower drain had serious problems which they meticulously resolved; insisted on it being dried out thoroughly and professionally treated for any potentially lurking pests before tile setting. We were impressed with this required attention to a problem we had long suspected. At the completion of the job, all was returned to normal; thoroughly cleaned so that we had literally nothing else to do but enjoy. The end result was nothing but outstandingly beautiful and very functional. Not given to effusive reviewing, we must say our experience with Transformers was wholeheartedly appreciated in all ways. We highly recommend their expertise in ideas, design, recommendations and abilities.
