Hank Neumann Installs Inc.

This job went terrible right from the beginning.  I should have stopped the work many times but gave Mr. Neumann the benefit of the doubt.  I tried to work with him and tried to be fair.  He promised everything would be great at the end of the job.  Once Mr. Neumann was gone and the job over (according to Mr. Neumann), I could not get him to come make repairs.  He came over and inspected the job and agreed it was poor quality.  He would do nothing and never really accepted responsibility for this shoddy work.  After trying everything I could to get him to re-do the work, I filed a complaint in the Sarasota County Small Claims Court.  I tried to be fair so didn't ask the court for the whole amount I paid, which was $5,000.  I only asked the court for an amount of $3,200.  Mr. Neumann appeared for a pre-trial hearing and in Mediation he accepted no responsibility and refused to pay me anything.  The Judge ordered us to be in court with our witnesses on the 24th of October, 2011.  I appeared with my witnesses and my attorney.  Mr. Neumann defied the court order and did not appear.  My expert witnesses testified to the judge as to the shoddy work done in my home and after hearing testimony, the judge awarded me my claim.  Mr. Neumann continues to defy the court order.  He is being ordered now to complete a finalcial statement for the court and if he continues to defy these orders, another hearing will be held.  He states I will never get any money out of him.  I have to hire others to come and re-do my work which will cost me double for repairs. 

Do not hire this man, I'm not even sure he is properly licensed.  I am unable to find a license and all agencies contacted in Florida cannot find a legal license.  May be under a different name.  He is not qualified to do this kind of work, he is not reputable and you need to look elsewhere for contractors.
