With over 13 years experience in the fencing industry, Englewood Fence, LLC is your industry expert in Sarasota County. Robert Hilbert is owner and founder of Englewood Fence, LLC. He has 18 plus years leadership experience rich in corporate human resource and store management. His background has provided the necessary tools to provide his fencing clients an elite level of expertise at an affordable price. His goal is to provide safety, function and curb appeal to the yards of our community. Robert originally joined the Englewood Community in 2011 in support of his wife's profession, she is a local optometrist. Robert and his wife started a family of three daughters. With three small children and two dogs Robert knows the importance of having a secure and functional fence in place to protect his family. Robert is originally from Costa Rica. He is bilingual, speaking fluent English and Spanish.

I realize it is way past hurricane Ian, however I was not aware of any issue(s) until now. My fence was installed back in 2019 and I paid 6k for a vinyl privacy fence for 3/4 of my yard and chain link on 1/4. Of course the vinyl fence was destroyed by Ian. I have been informed though that the vinyl post should have had wood posts inside them to reinforce them rather than be hollow. In addition it was brought to my attention that no tension wire was installed on the chain link fence. I am not a contractor and had no idea there should have been a tension wire. The lack of tension wire continues to allow for animals to enter my yard. I am a single mom on a budget. I had several estimates and chose Englewood Fencing, which I know now was a mistake. I would advise against using Englewood Fencing.

Robert came out and gave quote, worked with us on options and with great patience and professionalism as we couldn't make up our minds with styles, a couple of times.his guys, Michael and Tony arrived on time and were just as pleasant and informative. Robert from Englewood Fencing did an excellent job. I could not be more pleased. For a reasonable price - he fixed a huge problem I had with my fence. Another company installed the fence - ON MY NEIGHBORS PROPERTY! Of course the other company wouldn't stand behind their work. Realizing the pickle I was in - Robert jumped on the problem - and working with another crew member - removed the original fence and relocated it onto our property. What a concept! Very Pleased.
