I bought the time at Home Depot, came home, opened the packaged and saw that wires were I'd different color that the wires in the wall. I did not want to rely on my electrical skills or lack thereof. I went to Angies List, and found this company that came out about two hours after I called. An electrician and apprentice showed up and installed the timer promptly.

Great work and very polite. I'll use them again.

Everything completed in one day, little power down-time in house. I now have more breaker expandability in box if I ever want to add more service. BTW, Care Electric was recommended on my inspector's website.

We were buying home south of Sarasota w/o actually seeing house--
The inspections happened and we did not realize that one item caught was required to be repaired before we could get insurance on the house...once the insurance company caught the problem we had very short window to have it repaired. Our RE agent knew Daryl Care of Care Electric in Sarasota and got him to come out at short notice, make the repair and send us documentation/photos that we in turn forwarded to the insurance company so that we could have insurance in place on day of closing...
It was near hurricane season and we wanted to have our policies in force ASAP...

Because we were so pleased with his professionalism and his ability to respond to an emergency, we asked Daryl to come by the house after closing because we knew we had other electrical work to be done. We went through the house and pointed out what we wanted done prior to having the painters in so that they could patch any drywall problems.
Daryl is exceptionally well organized and has a great memory...
Part of the time we were in Texas and planning this via email...
They allowed me to have all my fans and light fixtures we bought on line shipped to their business address and then they brought them to the house when it was time to do the work...

I found the electricians he sent to be professional, hard-working, and very polite...they spent a lot of time with me when I needed to make decisions about location for certain items like ceiling fans and lights--we weren't always using the same location as the items we were replacing. I know some of the changes we asked them to make once the job was underway added to the time line and might have caused problems for other jobs they had on their calendar but they managed to complete everything we asked for w/o having to stop and return at later date...

In a house built in the 70s that has had several owners and some remodeling, the electrical is not straight forward.
Daryl and his crew were great at finding good workarounds for some problem--like needing to move a wall switch in dining area to accommodate a new pantry we bought and needed to put where the existing wall switch was located.
We were extremely pleased with their work and recommended them to our daughter who has used them subsequently and a friend of hers also had them come out to do a job for her...both of them were also very pleased...

We are going to need a bathroom remodel and I know we will want to use Care Electric for any electrical work.
I don't know how their pricing works vs other electricians--we felt that we got excellent value for our money.
Since it has been about 2 years since the work was done I am not sure about the total cost--maybe 5K...
They supplied some of the necessary smaller parts--like the boxes the fans and lights needed for ceiling mounts and the wall switches for them...
Lot of man hours because they had to track some lines through the attic to the fusebox which was not marked very well...

Professional in every way. Prices on the higher side of quotes but overall they were the best electrical company I have ever dealt with.

We purchased short sale property in Venice Florida.It is our seasonal home. When we arrived for one week visit, we received a letter from our home insurer that our house insurance is cancelled based on the home inspector report. We immediately contacted Care Electric. Rick, the electrician, arrived on time and addressed all the issues, even as minor as receptacles being painted over.. He explained everything, was very calm and professional. Based on the detail invoice our home insurance was reinstated. Thank you Care Electric.

Daryl did a very good job in locating and fixing the problem. Neat and clean work with no debris left. Price was fair.

We shopped 3 companies for bids on this job and Care was by far the most professional from the onset, we met with Daryl to explain what we were looking for and were extremely impressed with his explanation of the work that was needed and how Care would go about it, his employees were smartly dressed very diligent and capable, we were very much at ease and they accomplished all the work in a timely manner, Daryl made himself available through all aspects and followed up to see if there was anything else he could do.

Care Electric was fantastic in responsiveness, flexibility (required in my case), quality and communication.

We ordered new appliances for our vacation condo in Florida and when the installers came to install them, found that the electrical wasn't enough for the new oven and cooktop. We called Care Electric and they came the next day and rewired the cooktop and added the breaker. Very professional!
