Excellent service.   I have used this company to service my AC over the past 10+ years.  Russ is very honest and when I expected the worst for a repair bill, I was always pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost.  Russ has kept my old AC unit running very well for many years.  When it turned 24 this year and began losing Freon,  I made a voluntary decision to replace the entire system before it died (even though Russ said he could keep it going for a while if I was not ready to purchase a new system).   Russ
Mitroka Heating and A/C installed the new system in a day (with a few additional hours the next morning), with absolutely no inconvenience to me, no problems, and it works perfectly.  The price was very reasonable (I got a comparison quote).  What keeps me using this company is the good service, excellent work ethic, and how incredibly honest Russ is.  He and his team are very professional and will not try to sell you something you don?t need.  That is hard to find.  I highly recommend this company for repairs or new installation.

The A/C quit working Saturday night. Called Russ at 8am Sunday. He said he would arrive at 10am and was prompt. He performed his diagnostics and told me exactly what had happened and provided the solution. The process took a little over an hour. I have used Mitroka in the past. Reliable and professional. Provides economical solutions without unnecessary add-ons. I would strongly recommend.

I have used Russ Mitroka several times over the past 10-12 years and he has kept my 21 year old AC system running with very reasonably priced repairs. He was recommended to me and I have used him ever since. He is very professional and fair. I definitely feel that I can trust him. Other family members use his services as well.

Our A/C system was not cooling the home. During a visit from the company with whom we have a maintenance service agreement (not Mitroka), we were told there was no refrigerant in the system. They said there must be a leak, and they could test for leaks at a cost of $200-$300 dollars. If there were a coil leak outside or inside, the replacement cost would be about $1500. The technician recommended purchase of a new system because this one was 10 years old. I asked him to provide cost estimates for three different systems they carried. The next day I received an estimate of $7330 minus $364 discount for a net cost of $6966 for their recommended system (Amana). No other estimates were provided. We decided to get another opinion. A friend recommended the Russ Mitroka company. Mr. Mitroka confirmed that the refrigerant level was low. After pressurizing the system, he tested for leaks at the outside compressor and the inside air handler. No leaks were found. He added R22 refrigerant and thoroughly tested the system. The A/C system has been working satisfactorily for four weeks. Mr. Mitroka solved our problem for a very reasonable fee including labor and 11 pounds of refrigerant to recharge the system. Obviously, we were very relieved and very pleased with Mr. Mitroka's thorough system check and repair. He was prompt in responding to our call, and very personable — explaining what he was doing and ultimately saving us a lot of money. I will use him for future work and can highly recommend him to others. We appreciate his professionalism and honesty.

When I called on Saturday, Russ offered to come out on Sunday to fix the issue ASAP. He thoroughly explored the system to identify the issue. Once identified, he reviewed options with me, keeping in mind that I'm upside down on my house and don't want to invest even more into it for a new A/C unit. He identified the best and cheapest fix and implemented it.
