The clinic (which actually is at 549 Beville Road in South Daytona with this name - I am not sure if they moved from another address)
has very kind and friendly staff. The doctor took plenty of time with our dog and provided and ear flush and directions for the ear infection, a and quot;Haloand quot; and an anitbiotic for the sore with instructions for coverage, and also medication for her arthritis.

I had to put my pet of 11 years down. I had scheduled it three times and cancelled twice. They were very understanding and professional each time. When we arrived, they took the family and my beloved pet into a room right away. The vet and tech explained everything to us. They allowed us to stay as long as we wanted. The whole staff very professional and showed a lot of compassion

This visit was great, called and let them know what happened and I was able to bring him right over. Dr. Martin looked it, said it needed to be re-sutured, and they took him back, this was about 12:30pm. He was ready to be picked up at 5:30pm. I was so glad that he didn't have to be in pain all night and wait until the next day to get fixed up.
My pup has been a patient at Newman's for two years now. My wife and I absolutely love the staff, they are fantastic, I love walking in and my pup getting greeted by name. Dr. Martin is the best Veterinarian we've had. He answers all your questions, he gives you options, you can tell how confident he is in his work. He will even squeeze in a spur of the moment re-suture on about 10 minutes notice.
They call you the day after a visit/surgery to check up on your pet, I love this because questions usually don't pop up for me until after I've left. They always give you treatment plans so you'll know the cost of whatever your pet needs. They will also work with you if you have an issue with a certain medication. Our pup had hookworms but since he doesn't eat his food all at once, he just picks at it through-out the day and usually doesn't even finish it, the Panacur (I think that's what it was called) packets that you mix with their food wouldn't work for us, so we had an option of this chalky white medicine that we could give him instead. One of the techs even gave it to him while we were there, even though it was a slobbery mess.
They will even have a room ready for you if you have one of those pets that shouldn't sit in an open waiting room with other pets. They are so accommodating to whatever situation you bring.
Our pets will always be Newman's patients.

They took us in very quickly which was good because the cat was sneezing, always contagious, often dangerously so to other cats. They estimated her age, took blood and said she was negative for FeLeuk. She had a and quot;coldand quot; so received an antibiotic shot. In discussion, the vet revealed that she did not believe there was Lyme disease in Florida. Since it is epidemic in dogs throughout Florida and my excellent vets from back home are all over it, I thought that showed that she is not up to date or biased in her knowledge. I caught it in Tampa and she made it clear she didn't believe me. To me that was unprofessional. Two weeks later when the cat was still sneezing, we took her to another vet in New Smyrna. He told us the antibiotic shot was for secondary infections to the virus she had (probably Feline Herpes) and was less effective than oral antibiotics. While the vet at Neuman's did give us a choice between the shot and oral meds, she did not tell us that oral meds were better. Cat got better after the oral antibiotics and steroids the second vet gave us. He also went into detail on feline upper respiratory viruses, how long to keep her separate from other cats, the risks to other cats and the signs that she is shedding viruses again.

My dog was there last week. They telephone back the next day to see how my animal is doing. They remember me when I call. I also board my dogs there. I like them a lot. They have been there for a year and a half. I like them. They are very friendly. The waiting room is not overcrowded. This is important to me. My dog does not like other dogs. Trying to keep him in a waiting room with other animals is very stressful. He tries to get to the other animals and barks at them.

We have five dogs and six cats. They have always been good. I like their politeness and value for money. The vet is very expertise and he talks to you in layman's term so that you can understand. They are very compassionate. I would like to tell other people that from my point of view give them a try, you got nothing to lose only to going.
