I have been very happy with the work done by Titus Pools. The owner is very hands on and followed every step of the project from the initial bid to overseeing contractors involved in resurfacing pool and final company that provided oversight on maintenance for the first six weeks to insure that chemical levels were in balance. Every question and/or concern was met with immediate action and I completely trust this company to provide reliable quality with competitive pricing. I would certainly refer anyone to Titus Pools for any repair or installation of a new in ground pool. Our summer is looking wonderful with our and quot;newand quot; pool!

I had 7 swimming pool contractors give me estimates. Big name contractors from Tampa, Lakeland and Orlando. I was a bit freighted because I had never done this before. The quotes that I received were all over the place from 35K to 72K. It was overwhelming, I almost passed out with some of the quotes (LOL). The last contractor was Joe Titus from Titus Pools Plus. He came to my home and I explained I had several quotes and I was going to make a decision soon. Joe Titus had me take him to the backyard and tell him what my vision for my backyard was. we went back in the house to talk business. the other Contractors were giving me about 70 percent of what I wanted for top dollar. Joe Titus made me feel at ease and not only did he give me everything I wanted he incorporated a few Ideas which I did end up using . The best part that I enjoyed about Titus pool was that you actually saw where every cent of your money went to. I mean every cent, how many people can say that about contractors they hire. Let me explain, the first time I gave him money lets say 10K, he didn't ask for any more money till about 5 weeks later. before I gave him the 2nd installment, he sits down with and itemizes every thing he bought and spent money on and you add everything up and you see for yourself where your money went. (I.E. excavation $850, rebar and plumbing delivery $1300, forms $45, labor $2500, concrete shell $4200, etc .) What Im telling folks is that this man is not only honest, he's a professional and does excellent work!!!! Folks you don't know me but do yourself a favor like I did call Titus Pool for an estimate. Do you want your dream pool and do that backyard makeover, call titus pools. By the way on his website has a price estimator, if you want to know how much you are looking at in price use his estimator. You can input how big you want your pool, paver deck or concrete deck, spa, accessories ect. it will give you a price. We met with three or four pool builders. Titus Pools was by far the lowest builder. We then visited several homes with pools built by Titus Pools and also saw Titus Pools under construction. We were impressed by the quality of the pools that we saw and, as a result, contracted with Titus Pools for our new pool.

Joe Titus does some of the work himself and hires top quality subcontractors to do the work that he does not do himself. Joe insists on quality work. My pool maintenance man said that the firm Joe hired to apply the pebble finish is the only firm he would hire to apply a pool finish if he were building a pool.

.The entire project met all of our expectations and we have received numerous positive comments about our wonderful pool, spa and outdoor living area.

I had several companies come out for estimates to resurface my pool.  Several gave me a better price bid than Joe Titus but they failed to notice the crack in my pool that was causing my cool deck to buckle. Joe noticed this immediately and told me how he would repair the problems. I was quite sure I had a leak but wanted to see if a pool man would detect it and be able to easily fix the leak.   I was very impressed with Joe Titus and his knowledge. He didn't just send a helper out to give the estimate, he came himself and really evaluated my entire pool system.  He easily fixed the problems and several other minor issues with my almost 30 year old pool. He did not try to talk me into a lot of extra work although he could have done this because my decking is very old also!  He finished the job in good time. The resurfasing is beautiful! He did a beautiful job of replacing the tile and even cut a little design for my steps!  He cleaned up behind himself and never left my yard or pool area in a mess.  He was happy to do extra things that I did not ask him to do, for example he came back and pressure washed my cool deck after he had finished the job.  He came by several  times just to make sure everything was working correctly and to make sure I was completely satisified.   I am usually the person that goes with the least expensive but I am so glad I trusted Joe to fix my pool because he pays so much attention to all the little details.  Now all the little headaches I had been  having with my pool  for years and years are gone. He really gave my old pool a new life!  I have never been more pleased with a job!

Mr. Titus was a pleasure to work with. He is one of the few that still takes a great amount of pride and pleasure to provide the best possible product, utilizing the best of materials.

He personally oversaw all aspects of construction, including several portions personally hands on. If by chance something doesn't go as planned or come out to his standards, he makes sure it is rapidly corrected and made right. Bottom line, he stands behind his product....

Joe is a very good contractor, and I have personally recommended him to friends, and anyone seeking a great swimming pool.
