"Joe was very personable and friendly and was available to provide a quote very quickly.  I was glad that I had a flexible schedule, since there had to be a few last minute changes on when he could come out.  He spent a lot of time going over what I needed and discussing how they would have to move the furniture around so that they could access the walls in the small dens.  He also used the brand of paint that I liked, and provided a quote using Sherwin Williams Harmony paint (the lowest odor paint available).   The painting was completed in just 3 days, which was amazing considering the number of rooms that had to be done.  Joe actually does not do any of the painting, but leaves all of this up to his crew.  The crew seems to decide what rooms to paint and in what order.   This does not always correlate to what Joe planned or communicated to me.  Overall, the painting job was adequate, but the lack of attention to details and the state of confusion/chaos caused by the rushing is the main reason why I rated them as a C.  Examples: 1) Vent covers, ceiling lights, and some electrical covers were not removed before painting until I pointed them out.  I asked them not to paint around them (my point is that these should be removed before painting without my oversight), 2) all of the paint debris that was scraped from the front door was left on the porch for me to clean up, 3) the hose in the back yard was left on and uncoiled at the end of the job (I had to clean this up, too), 4) a large puddle of paint was left in the grass in the back yard, 5) several of the picture hooks were painted over (yes, most of these were fixed, but I shouldn't have to find them that way).  6) Three electrical covers that were removed from the kitchen had previously been covered in wallpaper.  These were not found at the end of the job (and it was implied that I really never covered them) and were replaced with plain ones.  I found the ones with wallpaper several days after the job was done in one of the kitchen cabinets.  7) The shower curtain and window curtain were taken down and found crumpled in a ball (these required ironing later on. 8) I had small towels wrapped around the hose from the washing machine to prevent the hoses from hitting the wall.  Instead of moving the washing machine away from the wall to paint, the towels were actually painted into the wall (again, this was fixed but is another example of things I should not have found).   9) All repairs to the drywall that were previously done were not primed prior to painting.   Finally, I had been quoted Harmony paint (the lowest odor), but a different level of paint was used.  In summary, the walls are fine, but the price does not include some of the detail work and care that I had expected for the price. "
