W.T. Sweetser Construction

Very mixed.  The construction took much longer than anticipated due to some very bad sub-contractors who were personal friends of Mr. Sweetser.  For example, the foundation/concrete sub rarely showed up.  I had to file a complaint under contract against the builder and have him select a foundation sub contractor I selected and knew could do the job.  Another sub contractor for roofing Mr. Sweetser selected, Noreck roofing, improperly built the two decks on the back of the home.  Both have rotted and need to be replaced.  While Mr. Sweetser had admitted liability, he has as of yet (over a 1/12 years) not repaired or replaced the decks.  
I cannot recommend Mr. Sweetser due to his lack of supervision as a builder, poor choice of hiring sub contractors, and lack of fixing obvious blunders by his sub contractors.

The price was excellent. He explained everything to me.  He was very quick to get the work done.

The work I had done to my house took twice as long as it should have, but I am very pleased with the construction itself. I would recommend this company in regards to the quality of work they do, but not in terms of the time it takes. I really like Terry Sweester, he is very friendly, very personable, he also made some excellent suggestions that we did incorporate into the work being done. Terry is very good at getting back to you right away, he just takes a little while to get the job done. We had the work done about a year ago and Terry is still really good about coming out to the house and checking everything, and fixing anything that I need. I would use Terry on another job in the future if time is not an issue.
