PAYMENT IN FULL BEFORE DOING ANY WORK WAS EXPECTED. ALTHOUGH CONTRACT WAS FOR MORE WORK THAN WAS ACTUALLY DONE, NO REBATE/REFUND WAS OFFERED(EVEN WHEN I SUGGESTED IT SHOULD BE).

"This job was a minimum charge of $500.00. My terms are 50% down upon signing contract, balance upon completion. I told customer we would haul any small debris and that would be included in price. If she wanted all the debris from tear out it would be $100.00 more. I don't understand why she wants a rebate."

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM. THEY DID A VERY POOR JOB AND DO NOTHING TO MITIGATE THE DAMAGES. ALL I ASKED THEM TO DO WAS CUT THE SPACER DOWN SO THAT NO ONE FALLS AND INJURES THEMSELVES, I DON'T THINK THAT IS AN UNREASONABLE REQUEST. THEY LEFT A LOT OF SCRAPE MARKS ALL OVER THE LOWER PART OF MY DRIVEWAY. THE CONCRETE THAT THEY DID POUR DOESN'T LOOK THAT GREAT. ALL OF THIS I COULD ENDURE IF THEY WOULD JUST REPAIR THE SPACERS. THIS IS A BIG ISSUE FOR ME BECAUSE IT IS A SAFETY HAZARD. MY STEP-FATHER WHO LIVES WITH ME IS ELDERLY AND HAS ALREADY BEEN HOSPITALIZED (MAY '04) FOR INJURIES SUSTAINED IN A FALL. I HAVE EXPLAINED THIS TO THEM BUT THEY JUST SAY THEY WILL COME THEN NEVER SHOW UP.

"This one slipped through a crack. I received one phone call from member stating she had a trip hazard. I sent a man over to repair the problem. I thought it was taken care of. The man I sent over is no longer employed by my company. I am truly sorry this situation got to this point. I will resolve it asap."

Frank is great and he has a great crew. They are all very polite. The clean-up is good and the price is reasonable. Some of the other concrete companies on the list wanted to charge $2000 just to get their crew out to pour half a driveway. I didnt know the water main ran under the driveway to tell them to be careful. When it broke they did everything necessary to get it fixed in a hurry. They were very helpful.
