I have been using Carson Pest Control (now part of Hughes Exterminators) for the past year and have been very satisfied. After moving to Tampa from the Northeast, the amount of bugs getting into the house was disturbing. My technician (the same guy for the past year, so he knew my schedule and house) comes every two months, sprays the permitter of the house, and checks with me for any specific issues (i.e. bugs inside) that need to be treated. They have been easy to work with, effective, and maintain a very consistent (predictable) two-month schedule. I would absolutely recommend.

The service from Carson continues to set the standard for good customer service. They go above and beyond the call. I am never disappointed in their work. As Teddy was done with the traps I tried to offer him a tip for the holidays and for crawling in my attic chasing rats, but he refused. Class act. I hope the company offers a nice Christmas bonus.

Prompt, thorough, courteous, excellent....We had Carson's out to do a WDO inspection at the same time we were having our our total home inspection and four point. They were on time, worked around the other inspector, went over the inspection with us, promptly sent us the report by email, then followed up with a phone call. It was a great experience and I recommend them most highly!

Since moving to Florida 12 years ago, I have used four pest control companies. They all seemed to have the same process of asking if you had any problems, spraying all the baseboards, cabinets etc, and telling me that dead bugs in my house meant that the chemicals were working.
Carson takes a different approach. They treat the inside and outside of my home for the first visit then focus on the outside. Their goal is for the bugs to never make it in my home. Every visit they completely clean the outside of the house of wasps nest, spider webs etc and I can honestly say I never see even dead bug remains inside the house. Having lived in the south for the last 25 years this is the first time that I have experienced no bugs inside!
They have told me inside treatment will only have to take place on an annual basis. I am very pleased with the service and certainly don't miss having to rush home from work to let the pest control service in my house. I highly recommend this company.

They are wonderful. They are very responsive and can come over on short notice. The guy who shows up is professional and informative.

Our house got hit by termites. Carson Pest Control was very responsive and was very aggressive about getting rid of our termites before they did too much damage to our house. Unfortunately we had Formosan subterranean termites, so they did a fair bit of damage before we were able to eradicate them, but I don't think that was the fault of Carson Pest Control -- I think they handled it as well as it could have been handled once we were hit. We now have a preventive maintenance system to make sure the termites don't come back. Carson uses the Sentricon system which I believe is a lot better than the old liquid injection method. It turns out we also have drywood termites, and so will probably have to tent the house some time in the not-too-distant future, but Carson has told us that the drywood termites eat slowly and we needn't be in a big rush to tent the house.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. Their technician was an obviously well-trained and experienced expert. I was impressed by his overall knowledge as well as his courtesy and honesty. He thoroughly examined the outside and inside of our large home including the uncomfortable crawl space above our ceiling. He was able to determine how and why rats were entering and he provided effective, inexpensive, and most importantly- humane solutions. He was the nicest, most honest service person our family has ever met. If God forbid, we ever have this problem again, I would call this company in a heartbeat.

They are very informative and do a nice job. They are conscious of my animals. Before I moved into my home, I had a roach problem and they were able to take care of it. They are very friendly.

They came out right away when we had a bee problem and got everything fixed for us. From then on, we've had them come on a monthly basis. They are definitely pricey, but they do a great job and we've really appreciaited their services.

I decided to use this company because it was highly rated on Angie's List and because it uses eco-friendly products. The dispatcher made an appointment for the following day. I waited until the provider was 30 minutes late before phoning to find out what the problem was. He had forgotten the appointment and made another for the following day. This snafu concerned me but I agreed to the 2nd appointment. When he arrived, he did a thorough job. He double-sprayed a problem area where ants were coming in. Several days later, when the ant problem persisted, he returned and treated the area a second time. That seems to have resolved it. I have arranged a year-long contract with the company and, so far, things seem to be going smoothly. They have agreed to phone in advance of their arrivals for the scheduled maintenance. I'm glad I gave them the benefit of the doubt with the initial appointment.

This went very well. No issues in asking for the report to be emailed and fax to all parties necessary during a home transfer of ownership. I would recomend using this contractor.

They are very cooperative, responsible, and go over concerns we may have. They are a top notch company.

We've been using them since 2000. He is the husband of my doctor. He is very nice and he rings the bell to let me know that he is spraying. He leaves a checklist to let me know if he found any termite activity. The experience has been very good.

I needed an inspection for a new house. Lynn in the office is great at arranging a time when the home inspector was there. I use Carson for my regular service at two houses and I continue to be satisfied. I highly recommend their staff and service.

They do not let me know before they come in. They come and do their job even if we are not at home and then they leave note behind. They come back again if required. They are punctual and I am satisfied with them.

Excellent follow up. The price was reasonable.
