BMR TREE SERVICE & GROUND

First, let me be clear: Bob, the original owner for BMR was wonderful! He pulled a tree off of my roof after a hurricane back in 2004/5, and was great at cleaning up after other crappy contractors that left messes. However, he sold the business when he moved out of state, and the people who worked for me last year were horrible! They charged me to remove a dead laurel oak. I had to call repeatedly to get them to come out. When they did take down the tree, they left the stump. So, I had to call again and again to get them to come back and finish it. They left a 6x6ft "hill" of chips on my yard, even after I was very clear that I wanted to re-sod where that tree was and that I would pay them for the sod. I finally gave up on them and paid my handyman to rent a stump-grinder. It was not a challenge, and it looks great now.

This company has been bought out by Alexander's Property Maintenance, which does all kinds of maintenance work. The representative they sent out to give the estimate told me the former owner, Mr. Rognstad, is still with the company but will come out to a job only by special request and that somebody else does the actual trimming. Since I wanted an arborist to do the work, I decided to use a different service.

Broad knowledge of the trees and plants and prefect pruning. Not a twig remains on the ground after the service-we use them twice a year.

I couldn't recommend Bob & his team highly enough. I will always go to him first for any tree & landscaping work that we can't handle ourselves.

Absolutely excellent work and they clean up so well after themselves that except for the work done, there is never any evidence that they were even there. I try to remember to get them twice a year.

If I had more trees that had to come down, I would hire them in a heartbeat. It is a small company and they are excellent. The owner works with them.
