UNCLE G'S BED & BISCUIT

I have been taking my pets to Uncle's G for over two years. They are fantastic. The staff is courteous, helpful, and great with my dogs. My dogs get excited every time we go.

They take the time to know your pets. They have a lot of hands-on time with your pets. They don't just walk them into a cage all day and feed them and leave. When my dogs get in the car, they're usually going there. They get excited. They jump out the car and just leave me when they get there. I have big dogs. So my prices might be a little higher. The cost is based on the size of your dog. You stay six nights and you get the seventh night free. I think it's $25 or $30 a night for a big dog.

They are an excellent company. It is a family run business. I know the people there and they also know me and my dogs; they know the personality issues involved. Their price is a little high but it is well worth it for my two dogs. They always have somebody attending the phone. It is a very homely atmosphere and they take very good care of my dogs. They are always ready when they say they will be ready. When I take them there in December, I get a bag of Christmas treats for them. I went to three other companies before I went to Uncle G's.

The dogs came home clean and happy. The price was right. They accommodated us with little notice.

They are the best people in the world. I used them frequently. They keep my dog any time I go anywhere that I can't take him. If you have a dog, it's like a baby. They are the best. We're in military and we're moving for 30 years and the dog that I have was born in Germany. He's been to a lot of different kennels. You can walk in there and never smells like poop. The dogs are always happy looking. You can go in any time of the day. They're always clean. The dogs are always taken care of. They are marvelous.

I had a very difficult older dog ( 12 years when I started with Uncle G's) and very skittish with people from early abuse before I adopted her (could be aggressive when approached ). Uncle G's took the time to meet with me and the dog prior to boarding. She stayed a week the first time. When I came to get her, they picked her up and lifted her into the car. I was astounded that she did not object and was wagging her tail and accepting the touch.
The groomer was able to shave the dog down for summer. She just took her time-- she'd do a little and then wait and then do some more. No one ( including me) had every been able to do that before.

The people at Uncle G's have a good instinct for animals and respond to them individually. The kennel is clean with indoor/outdoor runs. They are also compassionate with the people who own the animals and truly hear any concerns they might have. Another plus for Uncle G's is that they have a scheduled Sunday pick-up time. When you get back from a trip you do not have to juggle your job and the dog pick up during the next workday.

My dog died at age 14. When I get another dog, Uncle G's will be the first place I visit. I know they will share my excitement and be ready to welcome him/her as a new guest if I have to travel.

They are excellent all across the board! They love the animals; they are very good with them! I have a larger dog that I had boarded, the approximate cost is per night but I don't remember the exact price.
