PLANSCAPE INC

Problem: I had a pool installed and apparently all my neighbors homes drain down the side of my house. The water from the neighboring properties would be so much that water would flow through the french drain of my pool deck and up on to my pool deck flooding it. I hired Planscape to install a french drain. Tom came out to the house, gave me a proposed solution and said that this was like a "jigsaw puzzle". If it doesn't work, they will add parts as necessary to make the flooding stop. They installed two 6 inch drain inputs and tied them in to a 4 inch pipe that went half way down the property, then turned into a 6 inch pipe going to the front of the property to an outlet. The 3 gutter downspouts that I had were tied into the drainage system with a pipe with holes in it (corrugated). After noticing this, I then went outside when it was raining and noticed water seeping out of there instead of going to the drainage system. Terrible design. The two 6 inch drain inlets were always covered with sand because they never came back to install the grass that was supposed to get installed. I was not pleased that I was unable to contact them for many months. I would send emails and every once in a while I would get a response saying that they were busy, but would get back to me. Never happened. I made several phone calls to no avail. I finally threw in the towel, came on Angie's List and hired someone else to fix the problem. The solution was to rip out the majority of the installation from Planscape and install a proper french drain.
