Water Heater Service
THEY ARRIVED AT HOUSE APPRX. 12:30. AFTER THEY INSTALLED OUR NEWLY PURCHASED WATER HEATER IT WAS NOT OPERATIONAL. WE HAD NO HOT WATER. I CALLED & LEFT MESS. ON CO. RECORDER. MY HUSBAND ARRIVED HOME & UNSCREWED THE ELECTRICAL BOX TO WATER HEATER. ONE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION HAD COME LOOSE. HE RECONNECTED THE ELECTRICAL WIRES, WHICH RESOLVED THE PROBLEM. IT WOULD SEEM TO BE STANDARD, COMMON PRACTICE TO CHECK THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS TO THE HEATER PRIOR TO LEAVING AFTER INSTALLATION. WE WERE DISAPPOINTED THAT CO. DID NOT GIVE US A COURTESY CALL WHEN THEY WERE RUNNING LATE & ALSO DISSATISFIED THAT THEY WERE NOT MORE THOROUGH AND COMPETENT IN COMPLETING THE JOB.

"When I spoke w/ member to schedule her appt. she was told that she was 1st call for that day, which is usually between 8 & 11AM. In this business we never give a 1hr. window of time because emergency calls sometimes happen. Just as she said, we spoke twice before 11AM & she was well informed that my service tech was running behind & was insured that he would be there as soon as he could. When my service tech arrived at Sears to pick up her water heater, which is provided by Sears, he found a dent in the heater & brought this to Sears attention. We at First Plumbing take full responsibility for being an hour & half behind schedule & the loose electrical connection. This never should have happened & wish member would have called us to repair it. I fell terrible for the day member had on 6/2 but feel she is channeling her total animosity for that day toward First Plumbing, which had a small part in the total aggravation for that day for her."
