Beware of the upsell and bad service! I gave in to their incessant sales calls for a $60 "maintenance" and let them in to my home. I have 2 units. They said the first one was a piece of garbage, even though they installed it, and suggested a $1750 upgrade to a SECOND UV light. They suggested the same for the other unit, a 6 year old Rheem. Then, after the guy left the second unit stopped working!! I called the company. First guy claimed it was fine. It was not. Second guy said I needed a new control panel, maybe, and suggested a new unit!! I called another company and it was a loose wire! Unbelievable!! it was a $65 fix. Also, the new company could not find any sign they cleaned the coil or did any "maintenance." They give commissions to the repair guys who upsell. This is a nationwide company and should be investigated.

Two technicians worked just under three hours to clean air conditioning vent system in 2000 sq ft home. They disconnected the air handler and connected a very large vacuum cleaner so as to reverse the air flow. Then they removed the registers throughout the house and blocked the openings. Taking a single opening at a time, they introduced rotating compressed air nozzle into the vent pipe for a distance of perhaps up to 20 feet so as to dislodge dust.
They honor their discount offers, unlike some vendors on Angie's List.
CAUTION: I understand that the rotating air nozzle is less stressing on the vent pipes than the rotating mechanical brush. My pipes are metal but some older homes have asbestos or fiber glass particles that can be dislodged by brushing.

The service was fine. I think the only problem I had was they kept billing me months afterwards but we eventually resolved it. They didn't charge me more than the big deal purchase but there has been some mistake in the billing. I got it straightened out in the end.

Contact, estimate, and installation seemed to go fine.
Upon review of equipment and installation, it appears the price was WAY too high for a 1 1/2 ton A/C
I requested Lennox and was promised Lennox. After installation, I discovered that they had substituted a different unknown brand for the Air Handler. This air handler is NOISY and does not remove humidity from the air. I had another A/C company review the system and the alternate company states that they suspect that there is a problem with the fixed orifice causing an imbalance in the system. They stated that it would cost $1,000 to fix but could not guarantee the work. The alternate company stated that they could replace the entire system for 3,500. When reported to the installing company, they claim that there is nothing wrong with system. Something is wrong because it does not work. Humidity levels remain in the 60 and 70 % levels even after cooling. The installation also FAILED the inspection from the county because the breaker in the electrical panel was too small for the heating portion of the equipment. Contractor stated that they would not work on panel. County inspector stated that contractor should NOT have installed system if the panel was inadequate and that they were not able to work on the panel. Had to hire an electrician to correct problem. Electrician stated that the disconnect box was inadequate for the system and should have been changed when the system was installed. Disconnect box did not have neither a fuse or breaker. According to electrician, this deficiency will void most manufacturer's warranty on equipment. Had to hire electrician and pull permit for installation of new disconnect box.

They arrived on time and he rewired an air conditioner outside that was done wrong by someone else. Another company replaced a part and wired it incorrectly, so they came and fixed it. They seemed to do a good job, it took them a little, while but he was able to make it work. A few weeks later, however, the entire unit died. I have no way of telling if it was because of them or not, so I don't blame them. I had the unit replaced by another company.

My experience with them was great except for the cost. They are expensive. They respond immediately, and they have diagnostic and everything. They are very good. I would probably look at Angies List and compare cost before I use them again.

The technician, Fernando, was very professional and thorough. He even saved me some money on the contract vs what I was trying to do, which would have cost me about $45 more. I kept trying to use a $50 certificate to go against the cost of a new service contract for a maintenance visit every 6 months. He was trying to tell me that the way he was writing up the contract would save me a visit, but the only thing that I was focused on was using that certificate, and thinking that he was trying to pull a fast one on me. Needless to say, I was a little embarrassed when I finally figured out what he was telling me. Saved me about $69 overall, which I wasn't use to coming from an A/C company. He cleaned my system throughout and was very conscience of my floors when coming in from cleaning the outside unit. Very pleased all around.

The first time they scheduled the work no one showed up. I rescheduled and the second time the man came he looked at the unit and got the part number. A week later the part was in but it took me another week before I could work it into my schedule to get it fixed. The guy in the field who took the unit apart to find the part number was good and then the second guy who came to install the part was fine.

Service rep. had not even entered my home and viewed the unit and was already giving me a hard sell on a new system. Although he ultimately did what I asked of him (diagnosed the problem), he spent the entire time trying to talk me out of making a repair, offering to get him new unit sales team out for a free analysis, and otherwise trying to sell me a new unit.
Based on the time of day, he was unable to fix the problem on the same service call, and the pricing I was quoted for him to return was between 50% and 100% higher than what I was charged by the contractor that I ultimately hired to do the actual repair work.
They are very persistent and have been calling me every day for several weeks!

We have been a customer for about 12 years. They have repaired and even installed a new AC system at our home. We are pleased with their service and would recommend them.

1) Sales representative is very professional, knowledgeable and the installation was done on time as planned despite being on a weekend.
2) They had to come back and work out a couple of minor problems and a couple of major ones which were all fixed. The have an on-call center that operates 24 X 7. They also have an after hours on-call repair person. Every person that they have sent (4-5 by now) have been very professional, very knowledgeable and a pleasure to interact with.
3) Their only negative is getting through to the main local office, which I think has been difficult because of recent changes in the local management. The # one calls appears to be a national one. Therefore I am still having an issue getting the work done to pass inspection. The new manager is taking care of it now and I am waiting.
4) Otherwise they have been excellent to respond and I would definitely use them again. In fact, i have signed a service contract with them.

I called Gables Air (Service Experts) because my air conditioner was not working properly, i.e., the fan in the outside unit was not going around. They came out within 24 hours. The service technician, Felipe, was very prompt and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a failure in the power supply box outside. After checking the price of the new unit, Felipe suggested a maintenance plan that would save me significant money on the replacement part - which was over $400. I agreed.He ordered a replacement box and said they would call when the part came in to schedule replacement. In the meantime, he rewired the outside power feed so that my central air conditioning would work.
A week later, Gables Air called and scheduled the visit. Again, Felipe came and put the new box in. He proceeded to complete the semi-annual service on my unit and left everyting working perfectly. Felipe made sure I understood the charges and cleaned up everything. He was excellent.
