They're high price but they are a premium service.

It was good. The reason that I gave them a B is they would not allow me to bring in my own oil. I had to use their oil and it was quite the standard that I wanted. I wanted something a little better.

Steve offered service on the day I first showed up but opted for first thing the next day, Saturday. The crew got up and got me back on the rode in a reasonable time. They have good attitudes and a lot of return business from what I saw and heard from others getting various services taken care of. Tuffy's feels like a "local" mechanic in a town full of tourists and out-of-towners. I went with them from a recommendation I overheard in a local restaurant.

I took my vehicle in for inspection and service before a road trip. They were very professional and pointed out that the tires were showing signs of dry rot on the side walls. They gave me price for a set new tires that turned out to be out of stock. They promptly got another set of more expensive tires and installed them for the quoted price of the out of stock set. I won't hesitate to return for future service at this shop.

I had just finished my vacation in Destin and had a 5 hour drive home ahead of me. Suddenly, I lost half of my electrical meaning no wipers, windows, radio, air conditioning, locks or speedometer. With rain on the horizon and my window down, I stopped in, preparing myself for bad news. Much to my delight the smiling manager greeted me and was incredibly helpful, diagnosing the problem and showing how to fix it for the drive home. Cost? $0, and about 2 minutes of his time. If I ever have car troubles in Destin again, I know exactly where to go!

I just wanted to take the time to express what a great guy you have working at the Tuffy Tire & Auto Service (Destin Florida location)

STEVE TIETGEN - My family was on vacation and suffered a flat tire. Steve seeing that it was something that needed immediate attention was able to take his time to personally help. Seeing an employee step up at a business is a true rarity and most workers tend to have no compassion for peoples situations. Steve is the exception to this label - he went above and beyond and helped my family in need. While at the store I was able to meet some very nice employees like "Jay" who I found out was from Indiana also.

 Its these personal experiences that I will highly recommend Steve and TUFFY TIRE AUTO to all my local 30A guests who stay at one of our vacation homes. Please send Steve a sincere THANK YOU - His actions will not be forgotten. I am also going to place this on file with Angie's List and give TUFFY a perfect rating because of this wonderful experience.

As expected.

I came in for an oil change, my car was starting to lose gas mileage.  I was informed that at the mileage I had my car was due for a tune up.  I was also shown where some of the fluids  (transmission and coolant) were dirty and recommended to be changed by the factory.  The work was performed quickly and correctly.  I have friends who have had good experience with them also.  Wendell, the manager runs a tight ship, they have very few returns for problems and when there is a problem they handle it promptly and with no fuss.  They are not the cheapest repair facility in town, but with a nation wide warranty and quality work in their column, well, you get what you pay for.   Peace of mind.
