Home Appliance Service

We needed our washing machine fixed. They said they would be out the next day to fix it. Toward the end of that afternoon we called them and they said they did not have time to come out but would be there the next morning. They never showed up and they never called. Three days after they were suppose to have been there--they called and wanted to reschedule. We said no thank you--we have found someone else.

He's probably the best that I ever had. He's reasonable, honest, and around here, Destin is a resort town and it's very hard to get people you really trust. I honestly believe anybody else I call in this town would just  6:02-6:03  instead he told me it wasn't made by Viking, it was actually made by 6:11-6:12  the manufacturing and he said all we need is a little new part here and he came back with the part and fixed it, you just don't kind of get that service, he was excellent. I don't think you'd find anybody better than him. I can't believe he was that reasonable. I've lived here since 1969 and most people just charge you as much as they think they can. I live in a big house, you get charged more than when you live in a small house, that's a shame but a lot of that stuff goes around here, not all but obviously.

HORRIBLE! It did not correct the issue. After replacing both thermostats both ovens continued to be off by 50-75 degrees. Contacted the owner Jeff multiple times to set up appointments when we were going to be in town only to have him not show or call. Finally contacted Viking to complain who in return contacted Home Appliance Service. The owner Jeff sent an employee out  in July who in fact confirmed that the oven temperatures were still off. After all this still no call from the owner Jeff (Home Appliance Service of Destin) on what he was going to do to correct the issue. Contacted Viking again. Viking put multiple calls and messages into Home Appliance of Destin with no response. It was a Viking Service Manager who was in the area who came out and spent 2 hours on our oven and determined that it just needed calibrating (FIXED). I was taken to the cleaners by Home Appliance Service of Destin for $500.00. He replaced 2 thermostats that didn't need replacing he just needed to calibrate the thing. It took from February to October to finally get my ovens working correctly. NO THANKS!
