During the process of purchasing a foreclosed home, we found out that there was a severe mold issue. I would get physically sick when I spent more than a few minutes in the house. In the attic, the underside of the roof was covered in black mold. After talking with 3 or 4 mold remediation companies, I spoke with Guardian Preservation Services. Unlike the other companies I talked with, they insisted on conducting a test to determine the type of mold and severity of the problem. After the tests came back from an independent laboratory, they gave a proposal to remove the mold. The local crew were very considerate and communicated clearly about everything they were doing. They scheduled their service with my input and were very flexible to my needs. After completing the work, I was able to enter the home and not feel sick. They then tested again to check to see if they were successful. The test results indicated the level of mold in the air on the third floor was still too high and they came back and retreated the third floor and attic at no additional cost. I was pleased to find that the service also came with a guarantee that if the mold returned, they would do they removal at no additional cost. Because of their service, we were able to move into the house with peace of mind that we would not have side effects from the mold nor from their natural enzyme treatment solution.
