Working with David was an excellent experience. We did an unusual garage addition, and if you hadn't seen the before - the addition flowed so smoothly you would never know it was done. From start to finish, he kept us updated with the daily work to be performed. The various contracted crews we're all exceptional, picked up after each days work, and showed up on time. We used David and his team for a Kitchen remodel. David provided guidance based on his many years of experience, as well as a detailed quote for the job. His team showed up on time, was polite and courteous and did a great job delivering the project in the time quoted. I would definitely recommend David and his team!

David was on time and on budget. His work was first rate and I wholeheartedly recommend his services.

It has been said that a contractor is only as good as the tradesmen that he hires. In the case of the renovation of our den, the tradesman that was used was Tommy Ealum, subcontractor for David Meyer Builder, Inc. Tommy Ealum and his crew did a fabulous job repairing the room and went over and above what was expected, with attention to detail. After roof damage by an EF0 tornado was repaired, a contractor was needed to repair the den, the room under that roof. David Meyer Builder, Inc. was selected from Angie's List . His proposal was submitted on May 3, 2018. Repairs were started four days later and finished on the date specified. The team was very professional and skilled in workmanship. The den now has a much better appearance with corrections on the walls, window areas, and ceiling. We would highly recommend David and his team to anyone who needs this type of contractor. The contracted price was more than we expected to pay for these repairs, but with the extra efforts of Tommy Ealum, we feel that we received a very fair deal.

David did an excellent job quickly finding out problem for resolution. He knew exactly what needed done and kept me informed of status throughout project prior to tropical storm Alberto arrived. Would highly recommend.

One side of house done in June 2017 - work took 3 weeks because it was done by one person only. Quality of work was good. Attempted to schedule the remaining 3 sides of house early Jan 2018. I was originally told it would be on the schedule w/in a couple weeks. The work didn't get started until the week of 16 Apr, however the deposit check was cashed on 10 Jan 2018. Majority of work was done by one individual. When new wood panels were installed there was a team of 3 individuals that did that work. The job took 2 weeks and one day no work was done. The person assigned to the job really should have had supervision. Quality of work was just 'ok' and I had to have contractor back to touch up same areas twice. One new panel installed had a couple bad areas brought to the contractor's attention. The contractor didn't believe it should be replaced so he attempted to caulk the area but it is noticeable. In my opinion, this contractor's price is on the higher end, however, the quality doesn't support the price. Contractor's communication is very poor.

He was friendly and professional. He made estimates and did the work promptly in my summer condo without my having to be there. He took pictures during the progress of work. His work was outstanding.

We had new cabinets, granite counter tops, extra doors and cabinets, paint, and lighting.

David was prompt, professional, and did great work for a fair price. He was able to come out on relatively short notice and the work was completed on time. I highly recommend him, and I would hire him again without hesitation.

This is the second job he has performed in our condo and both times did a great job. He always does more than expected. He is also a great communicator. The subs he uses are also reliable and do a great job as well.

It went almost like clockwork with very few glitches. David was on time every day and told me what he would get completed that day. He is very meticulous and thinks things out to the Nth degree but the work was completed on time and on budget. I am saving money by doing the caulking, sanding and painting of the columns, but he is still available if I need him.

Wonderful. What a nice man and he does fantastic work. I had done a similar project on another condo I owned and used a different contractor who shall remain nameless. Meyer's work was far superior and less costly.

Price was reasonable. I don't remember it being outrageous.

A highly skilled professional who stands by the quality of his work and the subs he managed. We are very pleased with our new garage and plan to call on David for future projects.

The glass units were replaced quickly and at no charge by the door company. Note: When David Meyer originally replaced the doors, he solved a water leak problem that others could not solve. No more water leaks!!

Excellent job for both

Mr. Meyer was very responsive and came out quickly to bid on the job.  He was very good at giving us all options from most expensive to least expensive repair.  His crew worked quickly and they were very thorough.  The new windows look and work great.  The siding looks great and matches the rest of the house perfectly.
There were some leaks in the garage directly below where the windows were installed about a month later.  Mr. Meyer came out the next day to fix the issues.  No leaks since then.
I get the feeling from Mr. Meyer that he actually cares about his customers.  He really helped us figure out the best solution to our problem.  I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

We are extremely pleased with the completed project.  All the workmen were efficient, polite, and conscientious about doing the job RIGHT!
In addition, David did several little things that were not in our contract to make the changes more aesthetically pleasing.
The doors are a nice upgrade to our home, and make the rooms seem a lot larger!
We got bids from 3 contractors.  David Meyers Builders, Inc., was not the least expensive bid, but as the old adage goes, "You get what you pay for!"

Awesome! Dave and his team did a GREAT JOB with all the fiddly details and intricate carpentry. Looks just like it did new 50+ years ago! NO SURPRISES - everything done as promised. VERY polite and punctual. I could not be happier.

This was just too big a job for this contractor.  The most disorganized poorly planned venture ever. All the work was done at least twice because of poor planning, poor skill, or lack of knowledge. David would show up briefly every morning then disappear. Nothing ever completed. Deck was half done, had to be completed finally by subs for the dock, Hardy board half done with incorrect nails, errors just caulked over, paint sloppily applied, overspray on windows, walls, and marble tile from ceiling work, windows incorrectly measured, glass broken  Expensive items were lost, discarded or broken. I have never seen someone so unconcerned about shoddy work. (" I knew you would be unhappy if it wasn't perfect" -David Meyer)  We were charged for hourly wages for his crew for work we could not see, that he could not demonstrate when asked.  We have had to hire subs to repair work his crew did incorrectly. We had to fire his recommended subs and had to hire other subs to repair damage or poor work. He was very expensive because of the high cost of doing the job twice (or more, after hiring someone to fix errors after a redo).

David always has an excuse.  It is always someone else's fault, never his own lack of planning, supervision, or knowledge.
