Mr. Sheffield was not the least expensive bid, however his knowledge and experience was unsurpassed. He provided detailed suggestions where the Architects drawings and foundation instructions could be improved upon. The detail work where the two separate foundations came together at different elevations was amazing. When differing site conditions were discovered, the County Inspector and the Engineer both agreed with his suggestions to address them. It was obvious the structural engineer had worked with this company before and also laid great praise and respect for Mr Sheffields experiance.

It wasn't very pleasant. The price was right but the quality of their workmanship was not the best.

Donnie and his team were superb from the beginning. We got three bids for the work and while Mr. Sheffeild was not the least expensive, he was the most detailed in explaining what exactly he would be doing and as a result we selected his company for the work. We ended purchasing the supplies direct from local vendors and he did the labor.
The excavation entailed digging close to an adjoining foundation that was elevated that supported our garage that could have resulted in the walls collapsing if not done corrrectly. Mr. Sheffeild and his team ensured the safety and quality of his work and that of his workers was top notch and although we had a really unstable situation arise, his actions and resulting fortification of the garage wall was amazing.
When the county inspectors came out, they commented on the quality of the work and had no write ups at all on the permit.

He was very accommodating in meeting our renovation needs and willing to make necessary changes which were required once work started. During the project, we had an unfortunate undermining of adjacent garage(completely not his companies fault). His quick thinking and experience ensured that the garage was not jeopardized and the new addition was not impacted. His staff worked hard to get the job done, and they left a clean work site when the job was complete. His reputation in this area was validated, as he worked with suppliers to get us the best deal. He understood the country inspection requirements and ensured we met all necessary codes. Would definitely recommend for your cement and construction projects--a pleasure to work with!

I liked the service altogether. He was very flexible and he worked with me on putting the slab down itself. I did make a few changes. He made those changes without any problems. They were very professional. They showed up on time. They worked a lot of late hours to get the slab done. They did a good job. I would use them again.
