Amazing! We could not be happier with Bir Builders. Always prompt- actually slight early- and worked non-stop all day, each day they were here. Schedule was set forth realistically and therefore project stayed on schedule and on budget. Work done to a beautiful, perfectionistic quality. Kept mess as minimal as could reasonably be expected. Practical, efficient, professional, accountable, flexible and generally nice men. Would recommend/hire again in a heartbeat!

Mike was very responsive, and very helpful. He did a great job installing two new bathroom fans as well as some crown moulding.

Installed 2 sheets of 1/2and quot; sheetrock to garage ceiling. Masked off walls and floor. Applied Kilz to water stains on ceiling and removed old texture. Primed existing ceiling to get rid of powder on ceiling. Mud and taped joints as needed and textured entire ceiling.

Moved a lot of stuff from the sheetrock in area repaired.

Mike Bir is a first and foremost a trustworthy, professional contractor. Mike puts you at ease when you meet him. He arrives on time and completes the job. He keeps you informed of his progress. The results were excellent. The ceiling looks brand new.

Great service! After calling nearly 10 contractors, Mike was the only one that returned my call. He scheduled an estimate within a few days, was prompt with the appointment and had an estimate complete and sent to me that day. Due to a heavy work schedule he wasn't able to do the work for several weeks, but he was honest about the delay and completed the work within a few days of the estimate he gave me. He and his son completed the work in two days, they were professional, kept the house clean while working and cleaned up when complete. Overall they did an excellent job and I recommend them for any contracting concerns.

I have had work done for the past 21 years by Mike Bir d/b/a Bir Buiders. I bought an older home in need of many repairs and when finished by Mike Bir looked like a new home inside and out. I have always found him to be reasonable and reliable.

They were prompt in getting us an estimate and able to start right away. The job took about twice as long as they had originally estimated (~17 days instead of 10), however was not an inconvience for us. The painting was meticulous and the owner Mike Bir is a perfectionist. He always made it a point to pull up drop cloths, etc each day even though I told them it was ok to leave them in some places. They worked from one side of the house to another since we were living here during the work, so as to minimize any inconvience. Eveyone was friendly and professional.
We have some other small renovations and additions coming up and I will definitely call him again.

They showed up exactly on time on day 1, did all the prep work and began their tasks. By the end of day one, the bathroom ceilings and walls were smooth and ready for paint.
On day two they painted, put the fixtures back in place and cleaned up

Mike came out and did an estimate and was able to start work almost immediately. He was punctual and kept me up to date. I had water damage to sheetrock and he quoted that at a very fair price. While doing the estimate he walked me through what he would be doing to each damaged area and his quote was very detailed.
He opened up one of the damaged areas and found more extensive damage to the framing and structure of the home. We adjusted the price and it was very fair again. He took lots of pictures of before and after of the damage, the work, and the finished project. The finished project is great. The texture he applied matched very nicely to the knockdown that was around it. I painted the repaired spots and they flow seamlessly with the rest of the wall and ceiling. I plan on using Mike for my next repair.

Mike came to the house, gave an estimate and was able to fit the job in a few days later. He arrived on time with extra workers. The job took 2 days. The crew took the time to adequately seal off all rooms yet allow us as a family to function! Fans blades were removed and all lights were wrapped to protect them. Floors and walls were covered with plastic and a great deal of time was taken to tape the plastic to reduce the dust. The crew were cheerful, polite, professional and considerate. Clean up was performed several times during the job and not just at completion. We chose a knockdown pattern for the ceilings which were then painted white. They look even and clean. Light fixture, fan blades and air intakes were replaced. My ceilings look AWESOME!
I would HIGHLY recommend this company. I plan to use them again for drywall and tiling.
