Had a cover put on my back patio. I had to leave before the work was finished. The first thing I noticed was that the rain drain was inside the patio wall. I called and the gentle man said he would come and change that and he never came back. Also how the cover was attached is just ugly-no effort made to make it cohesive. The first time it rained it leaked and continues to leak where it is connected to the house. I am in Panama City and called several times and left messages about my issues and was told someone would get back to me - no response.

Matt came to the house, listened to our inputs, measured and designed a kitchen remodel for us. We made a few adjustments, then signed the contract to have the work done.  The 3D renderings were lovely, and really helped to visualize the end product.

It went well. We are very happy with the finished product. We had another company out that flat out said, "couldn't be done because of set backs etc but they didn't even call the city to find out WHAT those set backs were. AHC was very upfront with the wait time. It is difficult to project an outdoor project like the enclosure because of mitigating factors such as weather, issues with other projects before us etc.  We were in Ohio when the project was being done and I think that the communication could have been a little better on when they were starting and the complexity of the project. This project was very difficult because of the angles and cuts.....Most companies would in no way been able to do any kind of job like this.
We added the inside bar after the original project of the enclosure. AHC went out of their way to provide what we wanted. Everyone was top notch in their work. From their electrician to the granite fabricator, installers, enclosure construction team...just awesome.
I would not hesitate to use AHC again for any project in our home. I would be happy to provide photos to anyone wishing to see them.

Not very good at communicating when work was to start. Once started never knew when the workers would show up or if they would. But once they did they seemed to work hard. Missed items like grounding which was caught by building inspector.

Word to the wise make sure everything you agree upon is spelled out very clearly in the contract because the salesman will tell you one thing but then the owner will not live up to what the salesman said. Salesman agreed to move an outside light work to be done by their electrician and when I pointed it out as missed was told would not do it. Salesman even call and said it was his mistake but I still had to pay to have work done. To bad company does not stand behind salesman's commitments, and for such a small item?

When we found them on Angie's List they had really high ratings. Since then, I've noticed they've gotten some poor ratings and I will give them a poor rating as well. The work that they did was fine. Their timing and professionalism was very poor. It took them four months to finish a two week project. The least they told us it would be two weeks, then it took up to four months for the to finish. The salesman came out, very nice and quoted us the price. The problem is salesman tell you things that they want you to hear. When I go to deliver, what they told you in letter of the contract are vague enough that you think you're getting a service that you're no longer getting. There were times when we were being told, that's not in the contract. That's what we have discussed and we believe its there. They broke a light and it took them two months to fix that. They charged us for something that we thought was part of the contract. It was not a good arrangement. The third party contractors did a good job. Then they will be pulled off to do another job so ours will be delayed. At the end of the day, the work that they performed was good. The house looks good and the painting looks good. It was just the day to day trouble of dealing with them. I wouldn't deal with them again. As a matter of fact, they have two contractors coming today to look at the bedroom and a bath remodel and I got them off of Angie's List.

"I was taken aback when I read this review and thought I would take a moment to clarify a few date you contracted with us on a 6/23/14 and we collected a payment check on 7/14/14 that is 21 days not the 2 months as u stated we work on written contracts and u wanted extra things done that were not in the contracts and upset that my crew would not do them without a change order the light you are speaking of was completely rusted thru yard light that we replaced for you after finding that light and having to special order it did take a little extra time I am glad you are happy with the quality of our workmanship and we strive to have all happy customers its my regret that you will not be counted among our many satisfied and repeat customers"

They were very reasonable. Very dependable. He made it so easy for me and took care of everything that went on the home for four months. Amazing! I would recommend them highly. Started and finished when he said he would. I can't say enough about this company.

Once again, At Home Contracting exceeded our expectations!  This is the third time we have hired At Home Contracting for different remodeling jobs because we know their prices are fair and the end results are fantastic.  We got three estimates for a patio cover.  Two of the companies just couldn't do what we wanted for the price we wanted to spend. At Home Contracting met our budget and was able to build a very high-quality patio cover just the way we wanted.  Mr. Morales' personnel showed up early and constructed the cover in only a few hours. No snags, no hassles.  Just a very nice, sturdy patio cover that we will enjoy for years to come.  Thank you, Mr. Morales, Matt, Will, Devon and Josh!  We are very happy customers.

Matt was our estimator and gave us some good ideas to get our pool and yard usable in the hot Florida summer.  His estimate was right on what the final cost was even with a few extras here and there.  Danny was the contractor for the job and was very professional, as was everyone else we dealt with in this company.  I met with Danny prior to the start of construction and he also gave a couple smart ideas that frankly I hadn't thought about.  The project went well with my only issue being a periodic lack of communication.  The crew was working shorthanded and seemed to be overlapping projects, which may be perfectly normal, but that delayed the completion time some.  There were a couple days where we were told the crew would be working and they never showed up.  I can deal with this and understand delays, but on these 2-3 times no one called to cancel and I had to make contact at night or the next day to find out when they would return.

Joseph, the owner promptly answered all my calls and made sure we were taken care of.  Anyway, the communication wasn't a big problem and only worth a small mention.  The job came out wonderful and we are 100% happy with the result.  Everyone was a professional and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

"Thank you for your review, it's always wonderful to hear positive feedback from our customers, it is our goal to do top quality work and to provide exceptional service to our customers before, after and during the project, therefore I would like to thank you for pointing out the communication issues that you encountered during the construction of your screen enclosure with that information we will be able to improve our performance and customer service. Please feel free to contact us should you have any issues. Thank you. Respectfully, Joseph Morales Owner/President"

We hired At Home Contracting after getting estimates from other companies.  I'm not saying they had the lowest estimate, but they were the most knowledgeable and understanding when it came to knowing what we wanted done.  Our kitchen was barely usable; it had no storage, no work space and an ugly brick bar that blocked half of the room.  The sales rep, Mr. Williams, took our ideas and returned two days later loaded with great floor plans and plenty of samples to choose from.  He was very clear in explaining the entire project so that we would know what to expect. The crew began work two days after we hired them.   The work required extensive demolition and rebuilding of the entire room, including new plumbing, new sheetrock, new paint, more electrical outlets and better lighting.  It also required "saving" tile that we could not match!  Every member of the team was exemplary!  We were very impressed with their knowledge and expertise in every phase of the project.  Every company member, every subcontractor  worked meticulously to ensure we got the kitchen we wanted. We got great cabinets with lots of neat features (including granite countertops),  a pretty tile floor, nice lighting and plenty of outlets.  The entire project ran smoothly because all the folks worked together as a team.  Hats off to Mr. Morales, Mr. Williams, Adam, Marty, Marshall, Robert, Danny, Michael, Bill and Tommy.  I'm sure there were others behind the scene that we did not get to meet.  Oh, and everyone insured our place was neat and clean at the end of each day, and especially at projects' end.  The new kitchen is remarkable!
We are so happy with the work they did that we've already hired them to do another extensive remodeling project!

The quality of their work and their attention to detail was excellent.  Every person who worked on the project, from demolition to final touch-up, was wonderful - polite, friendly, professional, and eager to help in any way. The company would receive an A rating except for the length of time it took to complete the project.  The cabinets were not ordered before the work began, as we had been told they would be, and when they were ordered, it was discovered that they would not be available for approximately 2 months since they were still on a container ship in transport. We chose an alternate cabinet; however, it was not available in the color we wanted (soft white), so the cabinets had to be custom painted. This all created very lengthy delays in the project, which was a great inconvenience. However, we are extremely pleased with the final result, and especially with those who worked on it.

Despite the fact we were totally on the defensive as a result of our lives being turned upside down by the turn of events, the professionalism and sincere approach taken by the team quickly settled our nerves. After the initial in home consultation,  and drafting of the estimate/scope of work, a few days were allowed to pass before the contract was finalized. The final home visit entailed a detailed plan of the project, and amazingly, an opportunity to make subtle changes to some of the plans. Upon signature of the contract and determination of the draw payment schedule, a standard 25% deposit was made to get the ball rolling. The first big thing was the delivery of materials to the house. If you have a big project, or any size of project for that matter, plan on losing some parking space in the driveway and/or garage. we ended up with 5 crates of travertine in the driveway, and drywall, mud, thin set, tools and supplies neatly organized in the garage. The project start date kicked off as scheduled but progress was impacted on the second day by unforeseen circumstances beyond anyone's control, minimal delays were incurred during this first phase, but, keep in mind, if you are a home owner, quality trumps all, and unless you involve yourself every step of the way and address the issues that come to mind you will quickly feel out of the loop.  Remaining informed feeds much needed  patience and communication must be maintained both ways!    Immediately following the drywall work which included mudding and texturing, the travertine tile job began(longest phase) the attention to detail necessary for this work was evident. Everyday I checked in after work, I had the opportunity to watch (Marshall & Joseph) a few moments performing the tedious tasks of mixing & trolling mortar, setting stone, squaring and leveling and repeating a few tiles before they quietly cleaned up for the night and provided us their progress plan for the next day. Before we knew it, the entire floor beneath our feet had been transformed into a near flawless stage. Immediately following the tile install, a two man crew ( Adam & Marty) arrived and swiftly installed all sixteen doors throughout the house with perfect plumb and swing, then they dived right into installing nearly 1200 total  linear ft of 5.25 inch base board and quarter round moulding. Lastly onto the bathrooms... This phase was the most daunting, yet once again, we were proved it was nothing to worry about! The team ( Quinn & Gary)  operated in a synchronized effort that only occurs with an experienced and professional team. The first bath received a 39" high travertine wall treatment with bull nose border decorative stone detail borders which flowed into a full surround with travertine tile to the ceiling, complimenting  the new (heavy) cast iron  porcelain tub/shower. The master bath was redone from the ground up. The existing master bath with split shower/twas removed and replaced with a custom 4 ft x 9 ft  walk in cave shower with dual shower heads with individual controls, 5" stoop and 59" wet bench . To continue with the travertine motif in bath #1,bath #2 received identical wall treatments in travertine. The entire shower was clad in travertine with decorative stone detail borders and recessed nooks for item storage. The open air way in the shower partition added unbelievable depth and design to the entire bathroom.  Both baths received new vanities with custom granite tops and under mount sinks that perfectly compliment the design. Additional lights and ventilation units were also installed to improve ventilation and available lighting.   We are  thoroughly pleased with the results of the job.  Oh by the way,  this whole project was completed with out our family being displaced a single night!  The courtesy and  flexibility of the team to meet our "live in" needs during the adventure and still get the job done in spectacular fashion was truly amazing.

End result: an absolutely perfect job!

 Thanks guys!

Design was well done. Nothing happened when we requested a few changes, hence the B grade. Work was done very well. We had hoped to refine the design and then use them for the remodeling.

"Dear [member name removed], Please except our sincere apologies for your dissatisfaction with the length of time it took to complete your deck. As it was relayed to you the delays in the completion of your deck were because of the changes from the standard 36” railing in bronze color that was originally contracted, to a custom 30” railing in white color., Your deck was built in three working days and the railing install only took 4 hours had it not been delayed due to the changes you requested (at no additional cost to you) your deck would have been completed weeks ago. We are very pleased to know that you “Love your deck” as you stated in our phone conversation this morning. I’m sure your new deck will bring you years of enjoyment. Matt Williams was our estimator.  He was very good and came out several times to help us get the specifications nailed down.  Quinn and his helper D.J. were the BEST. They were prompt and kept us informed as to when they would be onsite. They worked steady to keep us on schedule.  Even coming on Saturday, when necessary.  They were extremely careful of our wood floors and hallways during demolition.  Their work is excellent and we are very pleased with our new bathroom.
