Description of Work: Now that my Adams Home, that I have loved, is 10 years old, I realize that the quality of work and materials is severly inferior and in some cases "below code". In the past year my husband has repaired the cooktop, dishwasher, and disposal and just replaced the kitchen faucet.. We had the refrigerator/freezer repaired (at our expense) but it still doesn't work properly. We have had the air conditioning repaired multiple times and realize that this is the year we will have to invest in a complete new system. Today, my husband was installing a new light fixture in the guest bath. After removing the current fixture, he found that there was no electrical box for the wires. That is not up to code. We also have crumbling grout and many tiles in the family room coming up and will have to call a professional to make that repair. Our garage and driveway have large cracks and some of the walls have cracks. We made repeated calls and emails to Adams and received no help. These homes are attractive in design but there is no workmanship, quality materials, or follow-up help from Adams.
