They advertised themselves as licensed contractors - they are not. He said he knew how to build decks - he does not. They did a horrible job on our deck that cost us over $12,000 and it will still need to be dismantled!!! Just check the County Clerks website and do a search of "The Hartwell Group" and you will see what I mean. Angies list will be doing the public and their members a huge disservice if they do not warn people about this company.

Larry Racies has no clue how to build a deck and his business skills are even worse! Stay away from The Hartwell Group and DO NOT give him any money or let him touch your deck!!!
