Painter did not provide painting services as requested using a blocking primer on all rooms and ceilings on 2nd floor. Old paint color is showing through, Only one room was painted with primer block. Paint on floors, incompleted coverage on walls throughout. Color was seen to be different on upstairs after is was started. It showed as light Blue, sample showed as very pale gray. Requested to paint first floor with gray and Use the "etched glass" upstairs and in kitchen and half bath. Was informed all paint was mixed and purchased for entire home and would be additional charge of $500.00 approx 1000 sf or area in downstairs and stair case. Raising price by $500.00. Once the job was completed, there was only 1/2 gallon of etched glass left. Not accounting for the upcharge for the additional paint to cover this area purchased in addition to the paint explained already mixed and paid for. light fixture mounts are dangling, can lights covers left not put back up, Paint on hardwood floors everywhere. Paint on 2 area rugs. Coat Closet and Air Handler space not painted, Paint is not a full sold coat in large areas of home upstairs and downstairs. With a health emergency occuring 2 hours after I was notified he was finished but still painting, he requested payment with paint cost added outside in addition to original quotes for entire home adding an additional $900.00. When the paint was requested I was advised I had already been mixed for entire home he said there was none. He did not answer phone after several attempts to text with no reply for the paint coverage to be completed. He also sent a list of how he billed me 2 times for paint including in quotes. He then sent a hostile message about to threaten me about my dogs. I read reviews after this on Yelp and saw there were issues with him from another homeowner with him blocking her number and refusing to to return to correct the job.

Barbour Painting Company has successfully completed three projects for us, one exterior and two interior, all with exceptional quality, professionalism, and timeliness. We highly recommend their services to anyone seeking reliable and top-notch workmanship.
