He was definitely not punctual. And I don't think from his timeliness he would have been very reliable. I would be very concerned to have my money going out in that sum and this kind of feeling I have from his responses. The cost I quoted is what I will be paying out to the landscaper who I have chosen and I will be putting a report in on him when he is finished and the irrigation is in and the sod has taken. You can bet you will get a true firm report. It is unfortunate that I have had to write negative reports, but I have also written equally A's. You can check in the Exterior Paint, Landscape/Stump Grinding, Fencing and as projects keep going as they will, more will follow. You will know my reports by the details and candor. More than likely you will find that I have used every character allowed in the spaces provided by Angie's List. They have been great to work with and I think we should work together to make this what it is meant to be. Finding the best companies. ($9,000)
Description of Work: Mr. Smith came out to my home to give me an estimate after his friend called him who had done a great job on my root grinding. It took him a couple of days and calls from his friend to get back to me. When he finally came out I explained everything I wanted and ask for a proposal. He said he wasn't certified by the state to do the irrigation, but would find a sub contractor that would do that part under his permit as contractor. He called me and told me over the phone that he found a certified plumber and the irrigation would be $2,500 and the landscape would be $6,000. I ask him to put everything in writing and e-mail it to me. He then said his wife would have that to me by the 13th of Feb. On the 19th of Feb. I got an e-mail with a proposal attached, for some reason it was corrupt and It wouldn't open with any programs. I had been waiting patiently for Mr. Smith and still never received the proposal so I e-mailed back and ask not to be notified again.
