As the house was being painted we ran into some wood rot problem. Mr. Smith checked several places to order the cedar to replace , gave me a new estimate and estimate finish date. When work was completed I was happy with it. I picked a bright color and love it.

When my Mom came home from rehab, after breaking both hips we neede some changes made to the house to accommodate her ambulation. The door to her bathroom in her bedroom was a pocket door that was not wide enough for a wheelchair or a walker. Mr. Smith widened the door and changed it from a pocket door to a regular door. He also changed the hinges on some doors that widened them just enough for the wheelchair to fit through without my Mom scraping her hands on the door frame. The shower was open, with a half wall with glass bricks. Mr Smith removed the wall, which opened up the shower and made it completely accessible to my Mom. He then built a ramp from the family room to the back screened in porch, enabling Mom to wheel herself, without assistance from inside the house to the screened porch. Mr. Smith finished the job in a timely manner. He was punctual, professional and clean. We definitely will use his services in the future and recommend for any of your home improvement projects.

It was a mess for a couple of weeks but that was to be expected. Al did a great job and was more than willing to make some adjustments that we requested. He did such a good job on the window and door that I can't even tell where they were.
